  1. Oh would you be able to share the explanation of it? at work for quite a few more hours so cant check it out right now.
  2. The story went by so fast i kind of don't want to write any criticisms i have because of how difficult of a task it must of been to wrap so many plots up. But if i had to comment i would just say it felt a bit empty, i know magic itself taking on a form and sentience was revealed with the anomalies but to be the final boss feels underwhelming. I would of especially liked more positive time with an aged elder dragon but then leaving such an old character alive means everyone is disappointed when we don't spend episodes just asking for lore dumps about everything the dragon knows. Also as mentioned above the void is such a eh concept, it doesn't have an interesting background and is just a formless evil, i actually liked the elder dragons being some end game threat at least until we started hyper focusing on them as a story and just steamrolling them. Hopefully the next story comes quickly so i can forget this story ever happened, my sympathies go to DSD in that final scene.
  3. Were you trying to do a poison spec on SB or Untamed? SB should be much better for a poison spec as you get to make use of the trait that increases poison damage by 25% as you can merge with your pet.

I never played bunny thumper but if it worked in Gw1 then im sure its fine and im not even really annoyed at what we got as much as people mis-classifying the class as some pet focused spec when the player is also sharing the damage and receiving empowered skills. I really think if they did a pet specific elite it wouldn't require that much extra for the playerside, no unique buffs from mechanics or traits on the player side just use what the player has to make it enhance the pet on top of giving it updated or controllable skills. Examples; Giving pets more cc/taunt, receive a portion of player inc healing, taking some of the player stats, player sending boons to pets who get additional effects, crit-ing an enemy buffs your pets ferocity or applying condis improves its condi dps.
  5. People calling it a pet spec and yet i was right, the pet focus is negligible and Mechanist got the real pet focused spec. While its good to see people being optimistic, as soon as you saw the player receive the unleash buff you knew this wasn't pet focused and instead some sort dance of power. If i wanted to buff myself i would play soulbeast.

Just coming to say i knew it wasn't super pet focused anymore than regular ranger and yet people were jumping for joy they got a pet spec the opposite to soulbeast, when lo and behold Engi was the real pet spec in this round of elites. As far as untamed goes it doesn't feel particularly special as it plays around with buffs and getting a few extra skills however the pet gets the extra skills this time. Also not sure on this stun/lock idea as it sounds like its meant for pvp because a few classes can already delete breakbars with certain skills, but in PvP pet AI is the most easily abused so no idea where it will be good. Just as addition it will require more effort than playing a soulbeast which is already meant to be a high damage spec. If Anet does want to try their hands at a pet focused spec then make it so 90% of the buffs in the kit are directed towards the pet and have player build and performance determine your pets performance like it gets a portion of your stats or if you crit it gains stacking ferocity and if its a condi pet then applying a condi gives it bonus condi damage so you can't just afk with a gigachad pet and gives the possibility for you to specialise your pet a bit or everyone would just user the highest power/crit pet. Oh yeah and food and utility buffs going to your pet would be hilarious.
  7. Oof had a public holiday lined up and took a couple of extra days off, I'll reserve my salt for discord rather than letting it out here but does this mean we get to keep the wvw bonus buff? And will be get the buff again when the next attempt is made?
  8. Anyone else getting connection issues today? its reminding me of earlier in the week where every hour or so i would dc and was pretty common for us OCE players. Just tried to get a dragonstorm in before it dcd but alas was unlucky and wasted my time.
  9. Darn seems to be getting worse then, real shame, this is pretty much peak time for us and we are having these issues.
  10. In Australia too. Yeah you can't play for long before you get issues, unfortunately it also happens everytime i want to do an event, tried to do Gerent earlier and as soon as it started i got booted, then just now i tried to do octo and as soon as that meta started i got booted again. Very frustrating that i won't be able to do my daily meta's or anything else today, also my friend in Malaysia isn't having any issues so its seems to be very specific to australia and other very nearby areas.

Not sure if anyone else gets this but i have had problems with it in the past and it is the last jump in the Mad Kings Clock Tower JP, I have completed it tens of times over the years and completed it on my second run this year however on todays attempts i have been struggling to jump at the right time even though my character is hitting the shattered opening directly and all i can put it down to is my ping which is around 200-300. Is it likely my ping and if it is should they increase the detection area more to allow for high ping?
