RoflCat.9827's Achievements

  1. Revenant with demon as one of your legend. Leap into a group of enemies to pull them, turn on your elite skill, watch as everything melt down by your sheer edginess. And depending on the traits you pick up/rune choice, you can also be near immortal while doing all this.
  2. 7/8 if you absolutely use everything 6/2-4 for more realistic value
  3. If the Pact already have control of gate to arah, you can wait there for the defense mission and hope it's the version where the high wizard shows up at the very start. That's how I got my Astra 4 part done.
  4. >. For maps like Auric Basin just have you do each pylons/paths of octovine, etc. .- .
  5. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they do what they're doing with the return meta for leg armor, but with different achievements. If the return meta is basically one huge world tour to get the leg amulet (admittedly behind 'paywall' of LWs for people who come later), then maybe a world boss tour could be for leg armor (or at least recipes for crafting precursor ascended with mystic forge upgrade) or something. All the core world bosses. For maps like Auric Basin just have you do each pylons/paths of octovine, etc. Some can be done in one go, some requires multiple clears, but if they add this it'd give people incentive to do those contents instead of just passing them because there's easier/better reward stuffs to do.
  6. Expanding on something I posted before. Make Legendaries usable by lv 1 character and just have their stat grow with character level. If not that Adds leveling equipment (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Leveling_equipment) to leg armory or give us something similar to it to store them (like if you can upgrade them to leg version so they can be added to armory)
  7. >Living World episodes will be in the spotlight chronologically. Episodes are free to unlock during their spotlight week, and we’ll update them with new achievements. Nothing say it's only LW2/3, again how are you people reading it'll 'only' be LW2/3? >And, truthfully, I still don't see anything that explicitly lays out what will be free and the "Live Summer" listing of events only went to the end of July which, again, my mind laid out as the timeframe for giving out Seasons 2 and 3. Maybe because "Living World episodes will be in the spotlight chronologically" already say that much? Again what is your basis that it's only LW2/3? If anything the bit about doing LW2/3 meta for precursor is a little misleading since it's only true until the achievements for LW4/IBS are revealed at which point you don't need to do all of LW2/3 for the precursor (still need them for the amulet) And what'd you know, there's another stream coming up at, oh, END OF JULY (July 27th) It's like they want to entice people to check out the stream and learn what's coming up instead of laying their life plan out in one go...
  8. Those new return achievements for LW2/3 ARE part of the same meta-achievement for the legendary amulet (tier 2 is the precursor, tier 4 is the leg amulet) so they're talking about the same thing.
  9. Starting 25 May Living World episodes will be in the spotlight chronologically. Episodes are free to unlock during their spotlight week, and we’ll update them with new achievements. + Complete all the new Living World Season 2 and 3 achievements to earn a voucher for a Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons precursor weapon. + After completing the new meta-achievement for all three playable Living World seasons and The Icebrood Saga, you’ll receive a legendary amulet as a powerful reminder of your role in shaping Tyria’s destiny. Where's the part that it's only LW 2 and 3? If you're saying the precursor voucher is what implies it's only LW2/3, what part of the thing about leg amulet right after implies LW4 and IBS won't be free?
  10. I'm guessing the taxi group is just for getting into the map and you're expected to leave and join whichever group is the wurm you plan to do.
  11. Some people want to have a goalpost to work towards. But apparently not when it's 'do whatever you like as long as it gives you mithril/elder wood + T5 materials' (for shard crafting) I can understand it's not as emotionally impactful when you look at the day's result and it's "I made 5 out of the 100 shards I need today" vs "I cleared 1 of the 20 pieces in the collection today" even though both are 5% progress towards the completion and in theory the 5 shards can come from anything whereas that 1 thing in the collection requires that you do something specific which you may not like (hello 100 karka shells and 25 passion flowers...)
  12. What if someone WANT to keep going? Even knowing any further exp booster is wasted? Not to mention what about items with multiple buffs like candy corn one? Would be rather annoying to be unable to roll for more buffs just because one of them hit the max duration. Also, for a 15 min buff to hit 36 hours cap that's 144 blessings or 3600 zhaitaffies(taffys?) in one single buy with all going to buff to happen. OP's case is the exception, not the norm here.
  13. Well, to change it would means either: You're guaranteed coffer (the only thing beside the buff) once you reach cap, which...isn't exactly a balanced idea. Or You can't attempt to buy it anymore once your buff is of high enough duration left, meaning you're locked out of using it for however long the buff last...and that's in-game time not real world time....
  14. Hammer? Sword/Mace? Mace/Axe? If you want both CC and damage on the same bar you can. Just not 100B damage skill on the same bar. Also, again, utility slots? What do you think those are for?
  15. But he was talking about fast hands, i.e. that warrior 'need' that 5s weapon swap to function. In PvE you shouldn't even need a setup considering how most bosses are either going to ignore CC anyway or they're stationary so it's unnecessary. And in PvP..well, I don't touch conquest but being able to just burst someone every 10s (the constant weapon swap) doesn't seem balanced/plausible to me considering the cooldown on most CC skills are longer than that. If you need 20s per burst...feels more reasonable, but at that point FH doesn't have as much benefit so eh.
