I really want to get my characters through the story but I just don't bother as I know I'll just dc at the end of the mission and I've lost all interest in the game because of it. Cant even focus on getting Elite Spec weapons because they are tied behind the story. Just to add my internet is perfect Computer set up is AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 I can run wvw in zerg fights play meta events for 12hrs straight and not one disconnect, lag or glitch, but try and do a story instance and lololololol nope.

I've literally tried everything some have let me do a few story quests one after the other and I'm like thank God its finally over and then bam disconnect. I think at least if you kill the final boss in an instance it should checkpoint there, so you can just keep spamming it until it works but having to do boss fights over and over, that just kills any sort of enjoyment and fun factor out of it. Its like watching a film on a scratched DVD and it keeps skipping back all the time, who the hell would want to watch that.

Title says it all!!! I'm trying to complete the returned event and every single story instance I've had to redo over and over, I've finally snapped after finishing the sniper fight only to disconnect when the mission should have completed. The only reason I've gone back to the returned in the first place is because EoD requires you to redo do all the story on your alts but guess what same thing happens there, I cant even start the Cantha story on any of my characters because disconnected...disconnected.....disconnected.......I've tried every single thing on these forums for work arounds but nothing works, I should not have to redo long story quests multiple times it saps the life out of me and makes me want to quit! I can run around for 13hrs straight in game doing meta events etc and not have a single problem but the moment I want to finish a story quest nope disconnect. This is seriously making me rage and made my hairline recede even further, just no you cant do this to me!!!!!!

2 days ago I clicked through 4k of bread lol now it wont let me......sad face

I'm probably going to curse my self now but I've been playing a live youtube channel in the background and everything has run fine for me today had multiple cutscenes with no issues. I can just imagine the rage at having to re do every instance multiple times 😞

I'm "trying" to start EoD I wake up on the beach the guy comes over to me rubs his chin then disconnected!!!! Luckily the save point is half way through the fleet fight and I don't have to do the walk at the start every time. But yeah this is very disappointing I've come across this a few times where I have to do the same instance 3/4 times and some of them have been loooong which have made me quit the game for a bit.

I had a build update last night when I logged back in I could use my Skyscale strange. 🤔

Yep just used my level 80 boost and cant use Skyscale :( I too am getting the pink box on the skin and I don't have any others apart from the default one

Sticking to Solo open world do you mean going onto HoT and PoF, anyway normally I would not recommend Berserker to any sort of new 80 casual player, but on a Necro 100% yes.You can also go Condi with Rabid or Dire gear, coming from a player who just likes to run around in PvE on multiple classes Necro by far (Reaper/Scourge)is the most face tank and easy class to play.All 3 of these sets are really cheap on the TP I think Dire gear sets are like 55 silver and only the weapons are about 1 Gold each

Look up Lord Hizen, Paper Roll, Nike!, and Venario Gaming on youtube, by far the best builds that let you solo most stuff and works for the not so pro gamers.(I would have included "Not Sure" channel but he posted above with his weaver.At first I was terrible with weaver (I would die to low level mobs :p ) until I watched his videos and can now run around and solo most things even HoT Hp

Everyone here gobbing off that it was easy probably had to get 2 Apple pies, water, 2 Secret sauces, and some shark with the Chef hardly moving and got to complete it. How about getting tasked to run each side of the room with the Chef running the complete opposite to you every time. Yes I've completed it but it was the most unfun thing I've done in gw2.

This is the most rage induced thing I have ever done in gw2, complete and utter load of crap, I know where every ingredient is but I still fail it every time! Its actually made me log off with rage.
