  1. More sexy outfits? Yes please. Tired of everything looking like coats.
  2. This thread PSA: AMD RX 6000 series low performance fix - Account & Technical Support - Guild Wars 2 Forums the final post from Midnight.9657 But I occasionally get crap like this: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ap0vjQZqI0jmhpVduHc2igFaDs3WoA?e=vTdmdN
  3. I recently purchased a Radeon 6700 XT and am experiencing god awful framerates. I'm coming from a Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti which had pretty decent performance. But I have a 165Hz 1440p monitor and the GTX didn't have enough memory for some games. Anyhoo, what I've discovered is the AMD Adrenaline software is having a negative impact on GW2 framerates (I tried disabling all the fancy options but no change). I then installed ONLY the driver and the game is running much smoother; however, I'm still getting this annoying stutter here and there. I found that thread suggesting Vulkan and that actually makes a massive difference. Extremely smooth framerates, but I'm getting odd artifcating in some zones randomly (randomly as in, the zone will have visual glitches everywhere but if I log out, wait 15 minutes or so, log back in it's fine. Logging out and back in immediately solves nothing. Weird!) Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
  4. I run condi renegade and the changes to the runes have made a massive difference in sustain. I'm thinking of switching to celestial (I'm currently all trailblazers) since the runes boost regen now.
  5. So, what is now the best solo profession/spec that doesn't rely on Torment runes?
  6. People try to face tank with it and you’ll die quickly if you don’t know how to play the class. So, question then, which profession + build is the most face-tanky? What's the best choice if one wants to just stand there and take it like a man?
  7. This is the exact opposite of my experiences. In fact, I recently commented to a friend that I've yet to meet a jerk in GW2. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful.
  8. As a retired HL ESO player, I agree and disagree. But : It got a very cool graphique design choice, very immersive Are you kidding me? ESO's graphics are amatuerish at best. Character models and animations aren't anywhere close to Guild Wars 2's. Some environmental graphics look "okay", but overall feels very static and bland. I realize a lot of people play ESO but that game is the very definition of "blah". I agree for animation (mount, skill, char) but the world overall is very pretty, far more than gw2. I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I am literally floored that someone could think this. The comparison is laughable.

The environments in eso have significantly more detail are the lighting is so far beyond gw2.Sounds like the case of someone not being able to detect the artistic difference between South Park and Disney.

  11. I had the same problem when I started PoF (which I've recently completed and am about to start HoT). I followed this guide for a strong PvE build: Watch the video in its entirety as he explains why he chose particular skills over others and gives some tips on how to play the build. I think this guide was created before the re-balancing, though, but I believe everything stated still applies. I mean, I'm still running the build that he suggests and I'm absolutely wrecking stuff. Plus it's fun as hell. Also, I did buy all exotic gear from the TP with power/precision/ferocity stats. I haven't played a Daredevil build yet, but I will be shocked if it can chain-kill enemies on the scale that a PP Deadeye can.
