Sure, that's okay. But for sure this forum is going to become a repository for hurt feelings rather than actually discussing the game.
And don't try and separate yourself with your play time to justify your entitlements - I have multiple collectors editions of this games releases going back to GW1 day one, and the only thing I'm entitled to is having the choice to play this game or not.
Mark my words. Once players start invoking entitlements...the community is done for....

I don't think the game is ruined, but the forums are likely going to come under control of the toxic minority...which is sad. GW2 was a Bastion holding strong, but I fear the wave of hive-minded hate mongers have now dug in too deep.

Nobody should be liking my post above. I made the mistake of rushing through that pop-up explanation that says you can choose for all your objectives to be pve, pvp, or wvw, or all three and I selected all three like an idiot. So, basically just washed my chance at the weekly chest. Ah well....my mistake.

I have to agree with this as I'm sure I am not alone in rushing through the pop up that explains how only objectives you choose will appear in the vault, and I unfortunately selected all of them instead of just PvE. So now, my chance at the weekly chest is pretty much a wash since only two of my weekly objectives are pve based when they all could have been pve based.
I have to say, originally I didn't understand and because of my impatience, I also had an impatient reaction as I thought we were being forced to play optional content to earn the chests. Had I slowed down and actually read the pop-up I would only have pve objectives.
So yeah, since I believe that I am not alone in my impatience, they should let us re-roll at least the weekly.

I dont think anyone wants what you're talking about. I haven't seen any players express enthusiasm about dozens of other players bombing metas from their skyscales. I'd hope ANet knows what kind of traffic jam this can be and puts limitations on it that keeps things moving and fun without being overwhelmingly ridiculous.

I'm not gaslighting you - all I said is that if this game has this much affect over how you feel that you ultimately feel betrayed, then maybe you should take a look at yourself instead of the game - which is a valid suggestion, not a gaslight.

Yeah, so did I - I guess that didnt come through in my reply. But I also purchased everything originally back through GW1.
The point is, in just purchasing the original game (collectors edition) and HoT - I spent as much as players are spending today for everything. But I aint mad about it.

I dont need, or want you to fight for me. I like this game. I have fun playing this game. Nothing I do in this game feels like hard work or some overly-daunting achievement I'd be broken up about losing. GW2 could end today and I'd only be sad I couldnt play anymore, not contemplate in anger all of the time and gold I lost getting items and achievements. Also, since you edited your other post - ANet doesnt have any obligation to how your time is valued or respected. Its YOUR choice to play THEIR game. If you ever feel like you're wasting your time, or your time has less value then maybe you need to take a deeper look within yourself, because its probably more likely that you have changed, and less likely that ANet and their game have so much control over you.

Anyway - you know how much gold I've wasted on superior runes over the years? Geezus. You probably burned less gold getting your legendary runes, and then you no longer have to burn gold when you have them - which is the main reason you get them because of the QoL. But, here I am burning 40-60 gold just to kit-out a full set per build-change per character where countless times I've even burned a whole set of superior scholar or tormenting runes over and over - thats like 40g+ down the tubes in one shot each time, just to change to another set. You know how many times I've done this over the years - so much you definitely think I'm a fool right now. But I dont care. Maybe you care, but I dont. And all the gold I farmed and had fun farming to do all of that is gone in 10 seconds because I couldnt afford to salvage them from my ascended armor. And I would argue that I spent WAY more time and money doing this than you spent getting your legendary runes - and I'm not alone. How come I'm not upset about this whole rune thing? Just because I didnt spend the time and money getting legendary runes? But I spend so much time farming gold and then wasting it on superior runes. I mean the superior runes I have now - what about those...if I think about what it took for me to get to the runes I am wearing today - all of the complete sets that were upgraded over and over and over again - just wasted. The runes I have now can arguably be considered far more valuable in time and money that your legendary runes. Should I be upset? Because I am not upset...

Its never my problem unless I allow it to have control over me and how I feel. And yes, I do think players like to complain about games they've played for 10 years.

No, I dont have legendary runes - but what does that have to do with anything? I mentioned in an earlier reply here that people who have legendary runes have valid concerns - you obviously skipped over that. As far as the 6th bonus being taken away - honestly, I could care less even if I had legendary runes. Players who have legendary runes are mostly feeling the pain because of what it took to acquire them, but hey - everyday we wake up, we all waste our time doing meaningless things. For me personally though, I would immediately stop playing any game that made me feel like "I worked so hard for this" and not "It was fun while it lasted". But, thats just me.

Part of this is just information vacuum. With the Vault, for example, everything comes down to how much AA it takes to get which rewards. That’s the one thing we (probably) won’t know until next Tuesday.
It’s kind of like when some big event happens in the world, there’s almost no information yet, and the news companies need something to report. They trot out all the experts and spend hours speculating on all the possibilities, including the worst case scenarios.
In the forum, we have a kind of dead air, to use a broadcasting term, waiting to be filled. Until next Tuesday, the experts are trying to mine out details from the blog and Rubi’s posts, and the blank spaces waiting to be filled will naturally draw worst case scenarios.
Add to that some experience with the game. A lot of people here have been playing for many years, and have had the experience of getting excited about an upcoming feature, only to discover at launch that some unshared details put a particularly large fly in the proverbial ointment.
Unfortunately, this above reply will go over some heads, but its likely the most balanced explanation of whats going on.
Edit - I do have to add though that there was the one guy who invoked rioting if they and other players who shared their opinions on the new runes didnt get their way. And also that there has been more simple-and-plain complaints in the light of "I dont like this just because I dont like this" than normal I would say

You can select for the rotation to have pve, pvp, and wvw options showing at the same time if you're looking for a mix.
As far as players having different options - 🤷♂️ I guess there's no point in playing for the fun of it while you help your friends and they help you.
The only actual valid point is the fact that options in the new content can derail a players ability to complete dailies/weeklies if they haven't made it that far yet...
Yeah, it's not bad - YOU just don't like it...
