Finished Conflux (leg. wvw ring) a week ago, which needed 5 (!) GoBs 😮😑
Had 2 in my bank thinking I'm safe with them for whatever I'll do next 😆 Took me 2 weeks to get the 3 missing ones and 2 extras, just to be sure for the next project 😏 Getting the 120 missing mystic coins took longer.And 85%, yeah nice.
I've one with 96%.
Sounds much? It's nothing. It's everything done but almost all hearts (which I won't touch).
From the time spent on world exploration it's like 20% of that is the exploring and 80% the hearts.-

Verdant Brink has been offering stats select exotic armor for map currency (except the chest piece) for years and for some months you get exotic stats select equipment (just everything, even breather) on any wvw map for wvw currency. Hasn't ruined the tp prices. They even went up for many of the dropped exotic pieces, like 70 silver some piece I don't know why it got so expensive, ectos didn't raise that much to explain it.

For rifting the 10 min is still too long and I used the one time thingies ^^
But for newer accounts it sure is helpful.

I'm also not happy that I have to setup a leg. weapon anew when switching to something else.
Sometimes I don't even know anymore what sigills I used there.
The vault could offer ready setup weapons and not only the empty thing.

But Wiki is boring.
I skipped most of SotO because it's not finished and I couldn't wait between stories and still want the whole story... so I just skip the stories and play through it later when I've forgotten most of what little I know xD
Of course, I got enough of the parts I needed to play.The previous rest is a mix of skipping and not skipping. I skipped a lot of HoT. I didn't connect with the characters, I didn't know anyone except Rytlock, so I didn't care, and besides, they talk and talk and talk and talk and....
If someone made a video telling all the important parts of the story, that would be nice.
When I play, I want to play, not watch videos or read novels.
The like 3rd play-through the core story, I took time to do it slowly, no skipping. But I planned it that way. Then I can enjoy it. And I did enjoy it.

Yes, yesterday they had an excellent strategy (splitting in several small forces, spread over several maps mainly going for keeps) and pulled it off with tenacity, and today they have forgotten everything, it seems.
Elona and Piken seems a strong combination. We had Piken as enemy before the reset already, they were linked with Blacktide, and I saw more of Piken than of Blacktide (but then again I play in the early mornings and so does Piken).
We will see how it works out after the holidays. -

Apparently a mystic forge is ≠ a mystic forge.
It worked in Lion's Arch but not on WvW at home keep.

Hello,
I wanted to craft an exotic lucky lantern (I've three rare ones to choose from: dragon, tiger and ox).
Wiki says I need 20 elona wine, 25 fireworks, the rare lantern and a stack of blue luck. E.g.: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lucky_Great_Tiger_Lantern Have it all and the wine and the fireworks won't go into the mystic forge (it's not shown in the overview and can't be dragged in manually).

Oil doesn't get disabled because you just die when using it until it gets destroyed, and you can't even disable defensive siege unless it was placed outside or so close to a ledge that it gets destroyed by ranged attacks anyway.
I'm safe in the oil, while in the oil. Once the oil gets destroying I just pop from the dmg.
Oil does get disabled plenty.
You can disable any siege and ofc it does have to be in throwing range. You can disable rams from inside, through the closed gate if they placed them close to the gate.
You could disable canons too if you wanted (now that's really uncommon, unlike disabling oil) -

My youngest acc is almost 6 months old. I've one berserker ascended armor and weapon set from the vault. Took two vault circles. That's like 4 months?
The runes were the actual expensive stuff.
Unfortunately that char isn't meta (anymore). I've no warrior and meta-holo is hard to learn and really difficult to master. I rather go support chrono to be a useful meta-peon.For an ascended minstrel armor I'm lacking grandmaster mark shards. I'll have them at some point, just by playing wvw, but takes a while.
For using the toilet I lack level 400 in crafting, the minstrel insignia is account bound. And costs about 8g each. (same for the inscription for the weapons) With crafting leveling (huntsman can do both) it'd be bit over 100 gold just to switch the core stats to minstrel. At the moment I don't have enough ascended vault chests anyway. Next circle I'd have 6 armor chests in total again.
Atm I'm keeping my gold for the griffon unlock.
The ascended stats-choose wvw armor is 2-3 gold each piece +wvw mats and the shards (all time gated). Needs much more time and the exotic pieces have to be unlocked first (via reward track).
If I'd spend as much time in wvw in my last acc as in my first acc, then equipping full ascended is faster and cheaper done via wvw. I guess spvp would be as fast.
That's how it should be, shouldn't? You play what you like and equipment will follow.-

I attempted often enough, with several chars, to run a second world complete. But I always quit after a while 😞 Once is really enough. It's just so boring and dull.
I rather do 100 metas again than one world complete.I wish Anet would add a trade system like 4 GoBs for 2 GoEs.

All cool but no to #4. I'm often on another wvw map while waiting, mainly because of #2 not implemented. And I do need the time to finish some stuff I started.
I'm really happy about the timer length.
Sometimes it happens when I want to travel I have to re-queue instead again -.-
That should be looked into.---
I've another one:
5. The spot of a player that times out gets on hold for ~3 min for it to be able to return. Or it's a spot on overflow.
I liked such a feature in GW1 when my guild went to the underworld. I could rejoin them when I got a d/c. -

A suggestion for an adjustment: The cost for the "disabler" should be halved (from 10 to 5 supps) and the outgoing dmg penalty should be reduced.
Right now it's 66% less dmg, 33% should be fine too.
The other side still has the bonus of doing 66% more damage to the siege (and halved costs). -

If ppk is all that matters to you. I don't care much about that.
Last relink we (RS+FSP) had WSR as first matchup enemy and they could ppk all they wanted (and they loved ppk, neglecting their homeland and all), still lost the match up (248:242:218). They were last. Behind Drakkar.
Now we are linked with FoW and so far not impressed. We've trouble to keep ahead of Elona+Piken when RS commanders aren't on/tagging up.
At least the chat is, surprisingly, not toxic anymore (the potty teenagers must have left Fissure). -
The guild you or your friends represent doesn't matter at the moment.
Only the server of your account matters.

My linking had a queue on 3 maps with reset.
My linking before had a queue on all maps and that even often, not only on reset day. Sometimes our morning zerg caused a queue around 7 am.
But my current linking partner is known for its ebg preference, so it is no surprise that ebg often has a queue.
I usually avoid prime time due to lags. That may be a reason for others too. And I had long lags after about 40 minutes. And that's usually the point when I leave wvw because it is useless to play pvp with lags.There were plenty enemies too so they had queues too.

I like the new disabler. In defence as in offence.
I didn't like the old one, it was just a sitting around and waiting thing before.As defender I like that I can use the siege (e.g. oil) even when "disabled". Had my fun with said oil. I also "disabled" golems and they actually left the gate, either they didn't know yet they can still attack or they don't want the dmg increase from the arrow carts.
As attacker I like that I can still use the siege even when it does about that same dmg as any warclaw (on a gate). Better than sitting around and waiting or building another siege. Other skills like iron thingy and shield bubble still work normally.

On my server, as defender, when you cannot take down the players, take down their siege. Either with counter siege or risky runs into their siege to mainly target it. Esp. when our respawn is close and we can repeat that until the siege is down. That would go even faster with just 5 supps invested.
At some point they have to leave to get new supps to build something new... or, they are that many ppl they go to the gate and open it with hand damage. But latter is very rare.
