LEGIT ANSWER WOULD BE: DONT ALLOW PEOPLE TO DUOQ IF THERE IS 150 OR MORE RATING DIFFERENCE. Because now people can que like duo 1800 + 1200 player, thats 1500 average, get 3 p1 teammates and play vs 5 p1 players. Thats fair. Oh, forgot to mention, the “1200” player is actually 1800 but on smurf.

U wouldnt get farmed “occasionally”. U would get farmed until you would log off or the 5man q would get bored of farming you. And no, ur 5 man stacks would never win 24/7 geeks. It tries to match same classes, NOT SPECS. U know its bad matchup if the q is 4+min. People with lower rating than opponents average will get an increased reward (MORE RATING). Why else do you think sometimes its +10, sometimes +15? Because top stats damage? There is no enough players in Q at any time of day for more than past 1 year. What you get now is the best it can be. Matchmaking tends to make same TEAM RATING AVERAGE on both sides, not per player. For example; average of one team is 1050mmr, that means the other one can be made out of 5x 1050mmr or 1x 1250mmr + 4x 1000mmr. (For example) Base rating gain / lose is 10 points. Players below the average of opponent team will get +11 / -9. Above average will get +9 / -11. Matchmaking tends to put same comp on both sides, but having similar team average has priority. You can not track elite specs, only classes. Neither the game can recognise if someone is guard sup with avatar amulet or he is bunker guard with avatar amulet. Unproven fact we believe is that matchmaking will after a certain time either allow bigger team average deviations OR spread maximal allowed mmr difference between highest and lowest player in match. We used to believe that we should req after 4min but i don’t think anyone really cares about it at this state of game.

Thats BS, one team would be the best over and over. To get a competitive match two best teams would need to queue at exactly same time. They wouldn’t. They would dodge each other.

Matchmaking is very good, it just lacks players to realise it. Also matchmaking CAN NOT, ITS IMPOSSIBLE, to recognise the names. It can’t know there is a difference between Boyce at 1600 or random guy at same rating.

Its some sort of respect that if u dc during game, you should NOT come back / if you do come and the team is losing you should disconnect.
