  1. - Return to a proper xpac model with living world inbetween. - Limit infusions to 2 slots only to prevent excessive stacking. - Invest in accessibility. At he very least add a slider in graphics options to reduce flashing lights. - More options to subdue skill effects and improve visibility in fights. Not outright cull party member's effects, just reduce. - Cut down the woke pandering. - Allow players to make more important decisions throughout the RP sections of the game. I'm so done with the clearcut good-vs-evil power of friendship narrative, please just let me be a shady kleptomaniac that occasionally sides with the villains. - Add a "minimal dialogue" setting for people who can't be bothered to spend half an hour listening to chatter and just want to get to the action part. - Eliminate lazy "travel to X and press F 10 times" content. - Create raid mini-xpacs. Paid sidequests esentially, but with brand new regions and assets. - Most controversial for last: delete the gemstore. Add new items as quest rewards, still allow donations (couples with polls for what features you want to see next) and make expac sales the main method of earning income.
  2. You could wait until it's on sale. Maybe by that time they'll finish it.
  3. Funny enough I jumped the ship to ESO around last balance patch. Really enjoyed roleplaying an actual thief for a change.
  4. Just leave. That's what I did. There are plenty of other games out there to try.
  5. I'm not excited for anything ever since the last horrible balance patch nuked all the raid builds I enjoyed. Honestly, I'm just here to enjoy the drama in the forums. Also, why on earth would I be happy about losing legendary rune utility just to be told to grind for it again (after buying a glorified living world release).
  6. I'm not really a fan of this whole "cult of personality" nonsense. Last time some Youtuber made a comment on how quickscrapper is forced to use gyros off cooldown to provide boons, Anet went and completely ruined the build... But whatever. I guess someone spending most time afking in mistlock knows more about a build than players with over 5k hours clocked in on said build.
  7. I'm looking forward to taking a break from the game. Putting a pricetag on half a Living World season really put things into a perspective for me and allowed me to quit without the fear of missing out.
  8. If a car dealership decided to take away the seats of a car I bought years ago and then try to sell them back to me, I'd tell them to... No matter what compensation they provide, they're still taking away old features and asking us to pay for them. I'm not paying them a single cent for it. What are they going to remove and repackage as expac features next? Weaponswap? LFG? The login button? Nah, I'm out.
  9. Every build I loved to play in raids got invalidated by recent balance changes, the new content has been sub-par since IBS finale, no new raids, and on top of that 6th rune bonus is being removed and sold as an expac feature. Definitely not buying.
  10. I've done the same thing, moved onto another MMO though I still log in once a week for the raid static. I just no longer care anymore, so I'm not planning to purchase any further expansions. If that invalidates my builds, makes me unable to complete endgame PVE and ends my perfect 2-year raiding streak, then so be it.
  11. So both of the quickDPS builds I perfected down to every % of the benchmark are now completely changed. Someone still insists on making Support Specter mostly single target and whielding that incredibly akward single target mechanic. Not to mention the last awful patch. At least I finally have one huge reason to migrate to another MMO, instead of a small collection of inconveniences.
  12. Finally, my eyes are no longer assaulted by other players' "fashion choices" while I can still admire the ones with simpler, more stylish outfits. Just exclude the raid mechanic effects from this filter and it will be perfect.
  13. First of all, 60+ hours is nothing. Secondly, strikes vary widely in difficulty. If you take the CMs into consideration, Ankka and Mai Trin took less thank 1 hour to progress through for the first kill (through LFG). Kaineng probably around 2-4 hours. Harvest Temple CM? I wouldn't be surprised if people spent over 60 hours progressing that when it was first launched (it got a bit easier since then). Compared to that, normal mode strikes can be done easily by a semi-competent squad (assuming they have boons and some damage, or enough time to carry those who don't). Granted, this is an opinion of a toxic elitist. Take it with a grain of salt.
  14. I doubt this will be changed. I wish it was, but it's likely not on the priority list.
  15. HoT specs feel a little basic at times (it's a thief but it has a bonk stick), PoF both have a decent theme and unique take on profession mechanic (what if guardian had kits? what if thief was a sniper? what if necro lost its second healthbar?) and then EoD feels like they ran out of ideas (I guess ele gets a flying jade kitten kind of like a scrapper gyro), tried to put together too many things (why have a potion-wielding necromancer when you can also make him a kungfu master and a gunslinger) or lobotomised the engineer class so that people with a single braincell could play it.
