  1. Even with full function in both hands this one was a pita. I eventually managed, but looking back I definitely would've used gliding. Hope it works out for you!
  2. I just started the Sorrow's Lost collection, and noticed there's a bug with the collection markers for this one. The first time I noticed it was after I had spoken to Dagda at the Wizard's Tower; the marker never changed from square (collection available) to diamond (collection active). When I hover over the square on the mini map, it will also read "Collection available". I spoke with Dagda again, but it didn't seem to change anything. The marker remains as a square, even the one floating above her head. But now I'm realizing it's not the only one. Some do work fine, but when I went to pick up I: The Forager, the marker remains active both on the spot and in my mini map. Picture of the card in my collection and marker active at retrieval site here.
  3. Since yesterday DX11 is giving issues with streams of water; sometimes it's outlined in white, sometimes red, and sometimes it's just downright morbid. Husband has the exact same issue, both only when DX11 is enabled. DX9 DX11
  4. I held off buying more a month or two ago, seeing as for the past 5 years they were on sale in either August (around aniversary) or early September. I know that doesn't mean they *will* come back around the same time this year, but I really wouldn't mind them bringing them back sooner rather than later
  5. The point was that it seems to be even worse than normal. And yes, it's a single match, but you'd at least expect some normalization. But hey, maybe that's just me.
  6. While that is a valid point, but it doesn't take away from whole maps are under control of just one faction with hardly any shifts, whole groups of opposing factions just waiting around bc there's nothing to cap, "Outnumbered" all over the place, (almost) all towers at tier 3 by the hand of just one world... If this is the WvW we can expect in the future, it's a bleak one imo
  7. What you're saying here is what I mean when I say I get how I can fix it now. As a fairly recent and casual roamer, I completely missed the memo and got assigned a different server than my husband. I get this is only for the beta, and while annoying, it's fine. I'll also make sure it doen't happen again. My point is that I feel there could/should be a ways for people to fix it AFTER restructure (if this is indeed how restructure is going to happen). It's feedback for the future. For people like me and my husband, who aren't in a guild because they're (casual) roamers, and have maybe not played for a while so didn't get to lock in with people they want to play with. So it's not about me, but rather that me being in this situation made me realize this issue is something that they might want to think of before restructure for players, even future ones.
  8. By no means do I mean to imply the problem doesn't already exist, merely that the current way of restructuring exacerbates the issue
  9. Just my 2 cents here as a casual player, who likes to roam WvW sometimes, so take that as you wish. But what I see right now during this beta looks a lot like "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". I understand Anet's wish to listen to players who's grievance was that they weren't (always) able to play with their guild mates, because they were assigned to different servers, which makes being in a guild together kind of moot, from their point of view. After all, why would you be in a guild together if you can't play together? And that's fair enough I suppose. So there's your good intentions. The Road to hell in this case, lies in the problem that, from what I've seen, a significant portion of the WvW player base is homed in relatively few guilds, and the luck of the draw is all that remains for the casuals. Sometimes one or two worlds are barely populated, with the the other(s) having an overwhelming alliance. This essentially then ends up in a gridlock/stalemate; one faction greatly outnumbers the others, and with control over almost every cappable point on the map, large groups lie in wait for anything to do. Roamers are easily faced with 10-15 people from an opposing faction with nothing left to do but essentially gank them, unless they've been fortunate enough to be sorted in with the organized faction and can tag along. So while it's great Anet wants to meet the issues raised by those in guilds and alliances who can't play with their own, the way it currently is in this beta, it only benefits those organized, and the rest is to suffer, eventually leaving less people to play WvW as it is thoroughly unenjoyable.
  10. I do get that *now*, as I said, only recently picked up on playing WvW with my husband, and even then on occasion. But even if I can fix the issue for myself, the issue that lies at the core isn't fixed with it. If I had decided to start playing with my own partner after restructure, I wouldn't be able to do that because we've been placed on different servers. Or my colleague, if they don't happen to be on the same server. You name it. I think it would be great if there was a (limited) option to select the server you want to play on, so you can join someone you want to play with. To make sure the balance isn't upset, maybe have a system similar to what we have in PvE now where it says the map is full, and if players leave, others can join. Locking in is great, but it's taking options away for players in the future who want to get into it, but don't want to do it alone (like myself), and then won't have the option of playing with someone they know/trust. The current beta literally means I won't be playing WvW for the entire duration of the beta. And I'm glad I can lock in before restructure happens, but there needs to be a way to make it happen in the future for people who don't have that option because they're not playing yet.
  11. Fair, but the current system doesn't offer any chances at all to casuals who want to play together, so a way to fix that in the future would be a good idea Since we're giving feedback and all
  12. It's so simple, obvious, and brilliant, you wonder why this hasn't been implemented
  13. Good for you? I have recently picked up playing WvW with my husband, and enjoy playing it with him but not into it alone. I don't play daily, and I'm not super invested in the format otherwise, which also means I'm not in a WvW guild. In other words, no, I did not pick up on the beta. That does not make me "less than". Anyway, now I can't even play with him, even though we're on the same network and literally sitting next to each other. There's no way to get in a team together, and that is still something that could've been though about?
  14. I noticed the same issue. It does seem like it takes the complimentary color on the color wheel though; my char has red hair and this option shows green. If that's true you still have the same color options technically, but there's no way of telling what it ends up as. The color picked or the color shown? Anyway, needs to be fixed. https://imgur.com/a/KvqlWeo
  15. As far as I've understood it, you can now toggle between the defensive (blue/Kurzick) skills, and the offensive (yellow/Luxon) skills with the click of a button, at 0 energy cost, with a 10 second cooldown to switch again. Basically like switching attunement on an ele
  16. Same issue since today, worked without a hitch with the same version yesterday. Husband has zero issues on his computer, I will still crash even if I log in through his computer. The issue is definitely on Anet's side.
  17. You don't need to get a fifth slot to get an uncommon, but when you do get a fifth one, it always is an uncommon or higher
  18. Tell me about it! I really want it as well, but I've seriously encountered what could literally be thee worst roll streak ever. I have opened, and please hold on to your seats, 57 chests!, and I still don't have it. I even used 2 golden keys, and still nothing. The worst thing is, is that from the 55 regular keys I used I legitimately had only 1, yes 1, give me an uncommon or higher. 57 chests. 3 uncommon+, out of which 2 were guaranteed. I'm starting to think I haven't met my gemstore quotum yet and am being punished by lack of Ebonhawke Crossbow pistol skin T_T So if they could be so kind as to put it in the actual gemstore, because I'd buy in a heartbeat
