  1. Personally I used to run dungeons a lot back in the early days before HoTs came out. What I liked back then: - full daily reward once per character instead of account (I enjoyed running the dungeons with different alts back then) - It was ok ish endgame pve available. What is needed: - More unpredictability so that not every encounter can be won by stacking behind the same corner. This is number 1 reason I no longer do dungeons because standing still in the same corners everytime makes for boring gameplay. how to solve? Personally I liked the old fractals where you did not know which 3 instances you would end up getting. So maybe something similar vould be done by combining the current alternative explorable versions into a single one where you dont know which bosses exatly you will be fighting.
  2. My one criticism of the Vindicator E-spec so far is that the Alliance Legend is too forced. All of the tier1 traits assume you are using Alliance. Also the F2 gives best bang for buck with alliance and is pretty meh with other Legends. I for one would like to see us have a playstyle with greatsword revenant that is useful with any Legend combination. My suggestion is to give us some trait options that do not require Alliance legend to be useful. For example we did not have any direct trait for Greatsword in the bunch and maybe give us another F2 upgrade that is more generic than "shing jea" (can't remember full name).
  3. They said there will be lots of placeholder and developer graphics and animations in the betas since its still work in progress. So I would not go around assuming these are the final animations we are getting.

I was experimenting with a hybrid chill reaper where I was running staff and GS so lingering curse did not make sense for me in that build, but now that my weapon choice does not matter I see no reason not to run lingering curses over the others. In a sense the weapon requirement made for the niche scenario where you would look at those other traits. Also since you mention that the game lacks situations where you would take these traits, maybe that is a reason to "buff" them but more in the sense of a rework rather than buffing their numbers.

While I obviously like getting a boost to my condition damage, I can't help but feel there is now a big flaw in the design where lingering curse now is always the best trait choice in this slot and therefore you will never touch the other options in curses anymore. Maybe the others need a rework of buff?

  9. Just some ideas of how elixirs could have worked. Instead of simple straight boons I wish there had been some elixirs that become a different skill after being used. This representing character gaining new abilities from drinking the potion and gaining blight. Like maybe get corrosive breath and activating the skill again spray conditions in a cone. Maybe get hightened reflexes and skill can be activated for an evasion. we already have skills that work like this in the game aswell

  11. I feel we would already go a long way with all minors giving something that scales with blight. Because blight is something you really can't avoid while playing as a harbinger the trait for elixirs seems like it can never be taken because you have to choose either of the traits that give some payoff for having blight. I hope Anet did not design elixir necros to never enter shroud at all and completely ignore the class mechanic. My suggestion is to give the elixirs trait also a concentration boost for each blight stack. Then it would have some synergy with elixirs boon theme. And would also ensure blight always gives us some advantage, but you have to choose which benefit you want to build around.
  12. They said on the stream that they will tone down dhuumfire because of harbinger shrouds double tap 😞 This makes me sad because I have enjoyed playing with this trait on some of my more interesting experimental builds. I'm not a fan of nerfing other elite specs for reasons like this.
  13. I agree there should be a inbaked bonus from blight outside having to choose a trait for it. Sonce shroud is such a centerpiece mechanic for necro you are going to end up with blight anyway. I feel this forces your trait selections. One idea would be to give blight itself a modifier for maybe damage and/or concentration increases. Or at the very least make the potions and shroudskills scale additionally with blight.
