  1.   (In the Past - when I was new to the game and saw the mechanics of stealth from the Thief profession)

Me: Huh? Where is that assassin now? Oh no. I-I have no clues where he is. I don't see his traces. Darn it. Where?Where? *Shocked and faints*

(In the Present - when I comprehend how the stealth works)

Me: Come out! Come out! Where are you hiding? *Tracks the Hidden one down with Area of Effect capabilities while learning his whereabouts with my instinct  and prepares to avoid his incoming strike from the shadow with the defensive maneuvers*

  2.     ...In the Past (as a newbie)...

Me: Stealth?  Where? Where is that person? starts to be shocked and doesn't do anything but seems afraid to chase the Hidden one.

       ...In the Present....

Me: Stealth? Come out, come out wherever you are! autoattacks, places area of effect abilities on the ground, pops the fireworks, attempts to predict the time the Hidden one might strike, evades the Hidden one's incoming, significant skill(s), keeps on fighting till the end of the combat(Victory or Death!)

  3.      ... Only if there were more options  for selecting difficulties  aside Normal mode  and Challenge Mode...

Choose the Difficulty on the Raid Stages:

          Rookie (Very Easy)

          Veteran (Easy)

          Elite (Normal)

          Champion (Hard)

          Legendary (Very Hard)

          Apocalyptic (Hardcore!)

          Hellfire (Nightmare!)

  4.     Before the rework of the Defense traitline for the Warrior profession, there was someone who recommended me to take Rousing Resilience for gaining  more toughness  against a foe's damage(in fact, healing is more important once the player gets out of being stunned). That person claimed that it was helpful for decreasing  an amount of damage from an enemy's strike. I was like, "You have got to be kidding me.Toughness  is  a lie." When  the person saw my message, he was stunned  and confused  a lot.

Toughness  is useful for drawing a monster's attention to the player. The more toughness one has, the more attractive one is  in the monster's eyes. As for toughness  toward  a hostile player, it barely works. Evasive maneuvers, healing from various sources  of the professions' and other defensive tools  are far more reliable.

Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you in advance.

Me: (pulls  an enemy when he/she is  about to use  a charging skill) Come here!

Also me: (pulls  the opponent while he/she is trying to heal) Get over here!

    Kinda-ish.

Since it is kinda a new term it doesnt have a longterm standing definition. The closest thing to a definition is Oxford Languages one, which states that toxicity is: "the quality of being very harmful or unpleasant in a pervasive or insidious way."

But we should keep in mind that by defining "toxicity" we should not interpret this term too broadly otherwise we would end up in a situation that i described earlier, which is taging everyone/everything that a person disagrees with/which makes him feel offended as toxic. Like ive said ive seen people getting upset by a banana ping. There must always be a rational approach - having a bad day, being tilted or if a person just snapped a bit should not be considered being toxic, because it isnt consistant and deliberate. But if you see a guy thats doing spvp day after day and always misbehave and insult people, yeah, that should be considered toxic.

Ah! Thank you for the explanation! Truly. : )

I have read all of ur posts. And the only specific thing u are claiming to be toxic is lfg issues, be it "lfg is being unfair" or "comm doesnt like someones build and asks to change it before fight". He has full right to ask for a build change. It is his squad. If you dont want to - u can alway leave and join different squad. Thats what i do when i dont like a group by any of my standarts. Game provides u with all the tools u need to choose a group that u like to be in or start ur own group. Many people who didnt organise a single run as a commander doesnt understand that sometimes u have to make a difficult decision and kick someone (for example for not having a build we need) if u want to make a run smooth and enjoyable for the rest of the group.

You cant just state a few examples of what u think is toxic behavior (which are clearly not, like everyone is mentioning here), and then just add something abstract like "and other toxic things/behavior" without saying something specific. Insulting is quite subjective, ive seen people being offended by a banana link.

I havent seen anything in any of ur posts that would actually be considered as "toxic".

People really need to stop putting a "toxic" tag on anything they dont like. Its not how it works. If a comm has a bad day and is being a bit harsh on the requirements/comments he is not toxic. Toxic means someone is deliberatly ruining everyones experience with the sole goal of ruining the experience. Having a bad day, or being tilted is not toxic by any standart. Thats the problem of modern day "special snowflake" mentality. They think that everyone should be 100% nice to each other, and thats not the case in normal human society.

"Oh no i got kicked from raids for not using food, they are elitists and toxic!".

"Oh no, a comm wants me to play a specific build, he is toxic!"

"Oh no, i joined a tryhard group with a bad build and got kicked out, they are toxic!"

No they are not. From my experience a lot of players that push the mighty old "they are toxic" button usually provoke people to be rude. Im not saying thats ur case whatsoever.

So, being toxic = desire to destroy someone's joyfulness for doing something, basically?

So hypothetically, if I were to kick someone from a normal mode strike group because they weren't "role X" would that be toxic under your definition?

In the case you spoke of, if  you removed one of the strike group's  members  who didn't do what you wished for  after you had stated some details, telling them to do something specifically, you wouldn't be considered  as a toxic player. On the other hand, if you kicked the person out from the group with no reasonable information and did something impolite toward  him after he had been cast out, you would be thought as the toxic one.

  9.      ... Correct me if I am wrong...

Being toxic = (as I noticed) it is kind of  doing something unwelcome to someone and one thinks  it as  a helper  to make oneself look cool, superior to that person; for instance,

a guardian player, playing as a willbender defeats a thief player, playing core specializations only, laughs and calls that player  as  an incompetent one when the guardian player has no idea why the player does such a thing  and what the player is thinking. Then, he just goes away as if he did nothing.

  10.     Long ago, I used to follow commanders with their squad members in big battles in the Edge of the Mists  and the borderlands. One day, I felt bored with sticking around them. Thereby,  I started to wander across  the maps  in order to seek out a duel, captured the camps, slapped the sentries, defended some adorable dolyaks  if I wanted to,  learned  the enemy forces' movements, the enemy roamers' paths, predicted  the possiblility of the keeps in the east and the west to be attacked by enemy invaders, sent some messages to the allied army so that they could be aware of the enemy infantries, checked  the main keep(the central one) if there was a swords crossing icon on it, interacted with the siege weapons  in each locations  for the coming times  to use them against the enemy legions  and  helped  others  flank the supportive ones in the enemy groups one by one. Sometimes I came across the enemy battalions  and let them stomp me  as a quick way to go to somewhere else.

  11.        Somewhere in town, the environment in general was  an extremely big  academy. Decorative plants could be only seen near the entries of every structures, some corners of the upper levels  and  the trees were visible in the outer zones. Novices, masters  and mistresses  were busy in the classrooms lesson after lesson.

Several hours passed. The time for learning  and teaching  was over. I was talking  to a few roommates  about having the dinner in a food shop, which wasn't far  from the university while the others were going home. We went to the lockers  to pick up our shoes.

Abruptly,  all sounds stopped. By the time I turned  around to see my comrades  and carried on speaking of other stories, they had vanished and so had their shoes. The others were also missing. No traces of theirs were found. Only books  and some tools for writing remained on their desks. The blue sky turned into the bloody one. The light bulbs in the building were out of order. The water in the bathrooms  was no longer. I absolutely seemed confused. Fortunately, I had a flashlight in my bag. I activated it and went to the lower floors to reach the entrances of theirs. The doors were locked. Even the exit paths were shut. I ran to other quarters and searched for a way to get out. No matter how many times I attempted to seek out the routes, I ended up going back to the central sector where the elevator was. I was unable to use it since there was no electricity. I tried to think what I ought to do as  another step. I looked at the stairs, leading to another layer. It was the only option.  Base by base, I kept on looking around  and hoped that I would see anybody alive.

I approached the last section of the building, the gate to the rooftop. I slowly opened it and carefully stepped out. Then, I witnessed  the atmosphere. The sun that was clearly bright had become the solar eclipse. There was  a wind, moving in the air as though it wanted to greet me and congratulate me for escaping from the spot. I heard  a crow's noise  and saw someone with a long dress  at the end of the rooftop, standing. The appearance of  the person's  was pitch black.  Although I was  afraid, I decided to walk toward her.  I said hello to her and asked her what had happened to the location including  the others  and who she was. Instead of answering my questons, the individual was silent and step by step turned right to me. Ultimately, I couldn't see her face and everything was in darkness.

  12.      One, I don't hope to use the Elite skill so often for triggering the Invulnerability with  a couple of seconds. Two, I don't like to keep on using shadowsteps  to boost up a very small portion of endurance. In my eyes, this major master trait is unneccessary. What is the point of vigor, then? It is already there and does  its job for refilling  the endurance.

  13.             On  Friday 14th October 2022, it was supposed to be a quiet night for sleeping, but it somehow went to the opposite direction. I went to sleep with mother in a large bedroom early so that we could manage everything in the morning swiftly. Hours later, I slept so well that I entered a dream.

                [In the Dream]

There was  a large crew of adults, wearing boyscout and girlscout uniforms, travelling to other places, ancient ruins, caves, mazes  and  a vast garden during the daytime. The trip went smoothly. They all enjoyed it along the journey.

Until there was a time they needed to gather in a camp, outside the garden. I received  a report that one of the groups was missing in the garden. I volunteered to find them alone. By the time I arrived at where they were, almost all of the missing group had run away from the position, leaving one of them, a young lady with the ponytail hair, carrying  a large banner, out of stamina. I asked what had happened to her and she replied to me that she only fell down and got her leg crippled due to the fact that some areas in the garden made her unable to walk well. I gave her a hand so that she could rendezvous with the others.

Suddenly, I noticed  a portion of hair(another woman's) on the right side of her waist and there was  a lady in white, long black hair, covered in blood, staying close to the right side of the youth lady's, staring at me with vengeance(her eyes were dark crimson). The woman asked me what was going on and what I saw. I all of a sudden closed my eyes with my bare hands  tightly for awhile  and opened mine once more(the lady in white disappeared).

Later, the woman got shaken severely. She screamed very loudly and very painfully. Part by part, her legs, arms, fingers, head and eyes were torn out. Blood came out from her mouth and eyes like a boiling foundtain. I was shocked ,speechless  and  abandoned that place.

                [Reality]

After I had witnessed all of the happpenings in the dream, I woke up at 2:45 AM. My body got cold for a few minutes, but I could manage to bring it back to normal with the blanket on the bed. Next, I tried to sleep and woke up again at 5 o'clock in the morning.

  14.   No. He didn't equip the Elite specialization, the Daredevil; thus, he was a Core thief. As I noticed his playstyle, he was wielding pistol in main hand, dagger in off hand and the shortbow as the secondary weapon. It was possible that he equipped Trickery, Shadow Arts  and Deadly Arts. Certainly, he was a condi thief.

  15.     The current downstate status:-5% Health decreased per tick.

*Adds  an additionally  evil  adrenaline vaccine to accelerate the rate of the bleeding*

The new downstate status: -10% Health decreased  per tick.

Do I understand what you said correctly? If not, tell me. Thank you in advance.

  16.  The Horror of the Labyrinth: (vroom vroom)Commander, I would rather have the name, Steve or Stevie as the nickname or code name as usual. No need to make it official. Pretty please. By the way, be prepared for the Halloween. The Mad King  plans  to revisit your world in the middle of the month. (vroom vroom) I can't wait! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha(vroom vroom vroom)

  17.     Notice the movement of an enemy's, avoid certain weapon skills of the opponent's, which are related to inflict condition damage(for instance; poison, torment, bleeding, burning, confusion, fear), cleanse the condition damage if it is stacked  too much or it deals damage to you so severely that you can't afford to lose more vitality, counterattack the adversary with your outstanding combat combos, combined with the weapon skills and the utility skills  to make the aggressive one switch the offensive mode to the defensive stance  for a moment so that you can have some seconds to heal yourself(beware of being interrupted by the enemy's crowd control abilities when you are about to regenerate your health), keep your distance from the foe if the hostile one relies on close combat, try to bait the unfriendly one for wasting some breakstun capabilities, try to create a difficulty on the rival  with the ranged attacks by staying in melee range as long as you can  and drain the health of the contestant's till none of it remains.
