We've discussed options, suggested fixes and begged for feedback or input from Anet on this topic and there hasn't been any. So in 1 months time approx, September 6th I am deleting my account and characters. I am 1 account, it won't matter, but I am old enough to recognise you have no intention of addressing the issue though I feel you should be given the chance, because I'm stupid enough to hope you aren't the disappointment of a company you have displayed since mid 2019.

It's any herald utility, upkeep skill sorry so probably a talent/upkeep bug so I've reported it in the bug forums thx

Just curious, my Condition dealing Herald keeps getting hit with an 8 stack torment when in combat on the Drizzlewood coast that doesn't expire. Is this normal condition behaviour? Should I report it or is it known?

Still no answers on when this Kitten will be removed or converted to ArcDps version? I come here every so often to look and be disappointed and I log in to the game for a few minutes to poke around. Good news for GGG though, been playing and buying stuff in Path of Exile, storage tabs and such.Been playing Mechwarrior online now that MW 5 is, predictibly, losing player interest, don't say you weren't given heaps of feedback Piranah games about how quickly it would die.Restarted my MTG games too. I'm still confused. They added Soul Beast as a different elite spec and way for the Ranger to play. Rather than reduce Soul Beast abilities to compensate for the apparent "No downside" * gains, they just take away a standard mechanic of the class? *Elite specs are exactly that ELITE, of course they are going to out perform, that's why they have the specific word Elite in them, "a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society."

Did they ever say, clearly, why soulbeast didn't need it?Did they not try tweaking the numbers of abilities down some before taking away a choice entirely?

Can my ranger have the pet swap in combat ability back again so he doesn't lose 30% of his dps please?

When you use it the skill goes on a 20 second cool down timer, it shows it on the tool display, 20 seconds. Every aspect of GW2 has taught me that any skill showing a timer countdown is disabled until the timer finishes.Except this one. For those of you who are not aware yet, when the harpoon goes to this 20 second timer you CAN spam it, unlike any other skill I've encountered.This is what you are supposed to do. Each time you spam the skill it resets to 20 seconds until you can't use it.

So the new "Saga" is20 new skins for weapons1 personal hub/guild hall4 story missionsAside from the story missions which are revamped re-released content, it all seems against the grain of the idea of an mmorpg.No joining new maps to explore, take part in events, expand the world and environment or progress the story.Am I missing some big reveal?

Can you not just admit that the build system you've implemented is shit? remove it, refund players and contact the creator of ArcDPS and get them to build it into GW. You cannot fix this piece of crap, you can't, you've shown us you can't. Band aid's are not going to make it go away.

You are correct that people don’t have to buy into the system. People HAVE TO USE the new system though if they are to get back any of the functionality Anet took away to implement the new system. To get any BENEFIT of the new system you DO HAVE to buy into it. By changing how the game functions they have manipulated the environment to exclude other options. **On both accounts that I think are important for Anet’s build/template system, Quality of life improvement and good investment, I believe they have fallen amateurishly short of the mark for a professional organisation. The builds/template system was supposed to be an improvement over the original automatic switching in game modes but it has not been for many people. To get the full functionality that a FREE, 3rd party made programme had, you have to spend A LOT of money. I would have paid money $15-20 for a system that worked as well as ArcDPS, maybe even bought extra’s, but GW2 template gear system offers less and costs far too much to even do those basics. The template system should not require the support of windows notepad to function let alone downgrading from an expensive piece of data processing hard and software to a pencil and paper. What is the point of all of that code if writing it out by hand is needed to make a system function? This document is cut and paste into Word and not using the forums quote system as it was done in my lunch break hence the changes in format. You must have completely missed my extensive criticism of ANet's version of a templates system in this and other threads, or you wouldn't be asking me that question in such an agitated way. ;) All I said is that I believe they will take care of the Rev skill issue sooner than most other issues as it directly hampers gameplay to a certain extent. Legendary weapon functionality, the holy grail of crafting and grinding, and it wasn't tested properly. Not having the option of linking a build and gear loadout. The great majority of answer seem to be I never used more than one build at a time, the game took care of swaps between pve, pvp and wvw so it makes no differenceIf I'd known about ArcDPS I'd have used that and then been as pissed as other Arc usersI used Arc and this system is terribleEverything else is recent developments after the template system was introduced and ArcDPS excluded so people have no accurate comparison. Put ArcDPS alongside the GW2 build system and then get your feedback. I have a feeling it would be a Google Stadia vs Microsoft XCloud

Having followed the thread and read what you intend to do, in the new year, about the build templates that's me done with the game till at least until then. You've alienated many hardcore players by introducing a feature that makes it impossible for them to play how they want, 1 Character with many builds.You've missed the casuals as most have many characters but only 1 build each so the system is no improvement for them. It excludes anyone from trying out builds as they have to mix and match back and forth just as tediously with templates, gear load outs etc, maybe more so than before.Then you say there is going to be no changes till the new year which is weeks away and too late for me. My game time doesn't hang around for your dev schedule.Also you are fixing issues on the periphery of the core problems. You have proved you cannot get your house in order let alone release value for time and effort new content, the new installment is...mediocre, at best. Maybe the wrong people got let go....?

In someways it doesn't really matter to me now. I've really enjoyed GW2 and love my characters, but after they introduced this awful system I've stopped playing, Path of Exile and mechwarrior have regained my attention so I'll just sadly leave it. Good luck fighting the fight guys and gals.

One marketing tactic is to implement the worst possible option so that when you implement the "Improved" one customers feel relief and maybe even generosity towards you.Lets hope GW2 developers are not going to settle for something so underhanded.

Actually we wanted solutions several weeks ago when it was obvious via the information provided that the system was going to fall well short of even basic expectations, that it would work.We are now into the "We told you so" and they are asking us for solutions and feedback as they are so out of touch and behind the curve

WoW! I just experienced the versatility of templates first hand! Went to pvp and it loaded my pve build, lost the game with 1 afk anyway and it dropped me back into a fight in pve with my pvp build and pve gear, awesome!

Why pay at all for a save function? Just ridiculous. No one is making you pay for anything .. you can choose to not use the feature ... such a ridiculous rant You HAVE to use it. You can use all or some of it but you have to use it. You aren't making sense; I'm not speaking a foreign language here. If you don't want to use the feature you don't have to. You have that choice. No one is being forced to swap builds and no one is being forced to pay for templates they don't want to use, despite the rant of the poster. It's a choice, just like any of the other features you can purchase in the GS. Not sure what you mean you 'have' to use it ... if you NEVER swap a build, you NEVER use it. Even if you want to swap builds, there are other ways to do it in game without templates ... I've been doing it for many years. I'm afraid you will need to explain yourself a little better if you want to continue this discussion. Sure, whatever you say.
