My party members and I noticed this so wasn’t just a bug for me. The player transformed into a bird from air keep buffs and stayed in bird form while we capped net on red bl. Anyone else ever notice this?

Last item I need for collection. Trying to do the flame legion battles meta. Seems to be stuck on “rankar harrownight is uniting his warband…”. Been waiting for next events in chain for an hour. Anyone have more information than the wiki as far as triggers/timers for events?

Sadly I have noticed over the years fewer and fewer wvw players being helpful/nice to new players. Most ppl run with their guild or friends, hardly ever use map or team chat because they are in discord. I have accounts on 5 different servers. They all seem to be about the same. I have helped many new players over the years, only a few still play wvw. Maybe with alliances we would get to play on the same team, if so add me to friends I am always looking for ppl to run around with.

Seems like a lot of the group events/metas are dead most of the time unless the rewards are still popular/relevant. I wouldn’t mind more solo or small group events especially when tied to an achievement or collection. No more begging for help, having to wait until prime time or just giving up on finishing what you started.

nvm I got it. I finally saw a video that said not to click on the blue orb, wait to get the scanner from Taimi. This seemed to be blocking my progress.

I have done this instance over and over am still missing one scan. I did taimi, the first orb, the anchor, a destroyer, the 2nd orb, the third orb, the machine and the two dogs. something is not registering. is there a known bug? anyone else have an issue getting this achievement? I made sure I heard the computer voice when I scanned the dogs. I also heard the computer voice with taimi and the destroyer. for the anchor it just said "this is a weak spot" I tried scanning the anchor again and nothing. you have to scan the machine and the orbs to continue the story so it isn't those.

I got so tired of doing the meta in drizzlewood for my mastery points, I haven’t been back to the map since. So yes, I agree, it is very grindy. You will get responses on here saying it’s not grindy at all though. Different perspectives. Lots of repetition in gw2 though. Do this 10 times, do this other 20 times. I saw one achievement where they had to do an event 100 times. LOL

how do i find out which of my characters started this collection? is it listed somewhere? if not, what is the solution to me being able to finish this collection? wiki says it has to be on the character that started it?

have done the meta south and north several times now and I still only seem to have 2k or so supply. I buy keys get more supply repeat. friends of mine have 10k or more supply and 100 keys. what am I doing wrong?

i finished the achievement, I think what happens sometimes is that the puzzle finishes ie you get the chest but don't realize it. I hadn't set all of the mirrors for some of the puzzles but the chest was available at the end.

6th time got it, maybe it is just buggy?

are other players able to sabotage these? I have had to restart it 5 times now. I am ready to pull my hair out.

for some reason I thought this was once every 24 hours but I have been harvesting a rich mithril vein on same character at least twice in 24 hours. anyone know how often you can harvest on same character?

I have just started doing drms so maybe this is usual? 3 times now I have done the whole mission by myself then when the boss is at 30 percent health, the final fight a player will show up. they didn't help the whole mission. is this what people do? minimum work for the same amount of credit? just go hide somewhere until someone else has completed 75 percent of the mission?

there used to be plenty of ambient creatures in wvw to kill to maintain my life force, now i start many 1v1s with 0 life force. any ideas on how to maintain life force? just in case anet is listening I wish they would get rid of the lions and dogs in desert bl and bring back the ambients.

someone in gendarran fields said he had set his account setting to "away" and was still getting attacked, couldn't understand why. I laughed quietly to myself but then thought, this isn't a thing is it? just making sure, ty

I saw a thief use an exploit to get into swt on alpine bl. I reported him and then sent him a private message. he said he was "using proper game mechanics". I told him it was an exploit. He said I could believe what I want. LOL. if this is their attitude then why even bother reporting? they are never going to believe they did anything wrong.

One time I realized they are in the same guild as myself, could that be why? Another time they had been in the same squad as I had hours earlier. Other times I can’t figure out why. On another note....sometimes when I hover over the orange dot of an enemy in world vs world, I can see their rank and what server they are from, but only sometimes. Weird stuff

True if you have a commander on who is willing to give you shared participation. I play an average of 12 hours a day everyday, not always a commander on who appreciates/ needs a scout. I defended fire keep last night against 3 or 4 small groups for 2 hours. Very fun but hard to keep my participation up. All of our commanders had tagged down. Congratulations if you always have a tag to give you participation.

Sadly anet wants everything to stay paper and flip,flip,flip. Even though your team gets more points for upgraded objectives. A few of our players will sacrifice their participation to guard camps but not many. Similarly a few will walk yaks. When I call for help defending, sometimes I will only get a few to help but 20 or more will come to take the tower/keep back. Most don’t seem to like defending. I enjoy the challenge even if I lose participation. I empathize with your dilemma but I doubt anet will change it. I hope you stay in wvw. The game mode needs more defenders even if there is no reward for defending
