  1. Really love the change. The teleport to friend solves so many little situations, like wanting to play with your friends but realizing you haven't unlocked a waypoint on a particular character, or racing to get meta that's about to pop and so on. As someone who essentially co-ops with someone who is "directional challenged" (has difficulty forming mental maps and learning how to get from one place to another. Where you or I might learn basic navigation of a map within a time or two playing on it, they don't The game world is essentially new each time they play, they don't really learn where A is in relation to B.) we're constantly using it to keep up with each other and the reduced recharge is an amazing help. Seriously, thank you. I know that probably wasn't the motivation behind the cooldown change, and I know some balance has to be struck to keep it from being abusable, but the ten minute recharge feels great and always feels available when we need it and it made if much easier to play together. Just wanted to call out a specific use case that you might not realize you were helping out 😊. However, a small quality of life suggestion: The arbitrary limitation of selecting four random(ish) players when used in a squad makes it difficult to use in certain situations. I think it selects the first four people (chronologically) who joined, but it ALSO shows offline players leading to situations where there are 0 valid options to choose from (such as: https://i.postimg.cc/fRsk8rtX/image.png ). Additionally, when metas involve people splitting up and performing tasks all over (say Amnytas), it can be difficult for her to find me. So our usual routine is I find a squad, waypoint to the map, join the instance, move into position, leave squad, join her party, she teleports to me, then we both leave party and rejoin original squad. It works. But it could be improved: (low effort): at least ensure that the four chosen names are viable targets (not offline) (better): why cap at four people? Just show the whole squad in a scrollable list (maybe without the previews, the real reason for the four person limit, I suspect) (ultimate extravagance) make the list searchable High priority? Naaaah. Just more noticeable now that we can use it 6x as much! 😁
  2. Similar bug happens with the lantern boat skin. Front two seats get dunked whenever the boat is anchored.

At least that one just requires a bit of a wait, but is doable solo. .Lyhr is a mini-meta though and doesn't appear at a set time, and was going to become more and more of a problem as time went on. But when you look at the lantern that is still behind the Dragon's End meta event or the two in the Arborstone meta, or even the one in the Seitung Province meta, I'm not sure they want to make them fully soloable. The policy seems to be it's okay to put them behind major timed events that the community can rally behind, or behind frequent normal events. But when it's behind a seeming random spawn of a forced-group event that a solo person can't start and nobody is coming... that leads to problems.
  4. Yes, all black lion chest exclusives (aka, the last two slots of the uncommon chest tier. NOT ones that are available for gems) are permanently available from the statuette vendor, and they get cheaper over time. I think it should be available as soon as it leaves the chest.
  5. It's nowhere near priority, but is there any way you can pass on to the team a request that rear mast collision boxes be adjusted for future skins? When they are present, everytime you anchor the skiff the collision box from the mast causes the camera to ram into the floor unless you take steps to prevent it. It's a minor thing, but I don't know of a functional reason for the rear mast collision box. Perhaps adjusting it so it is floating collision box, or slightly offset so the default camera position doesn't hit it? As a workaround I've long since gotten used to swinging the camera to the side before anchoring, so this really isn't a high priority issue. Just a small suggestion to usability to further improve things.
  6. It's ridiculous, and I love it. Got it in 12 keys! I wish it didn't have the rear mast collision box that always messes with the camera, but I'm still using it!
  7. Cooldown change is amazing... but now that I can use it every ten minutes it REALLY highlights the limitations of it choosing 4 random people out of the squad. Can it be changed to be a searchable list of everyone in the squad? I really want to be able to pick my friend out of the list without them having to leave meta squad, etc. Either way, a welcome change! *Edit* - or at least not show offline members?   8. That is a very high resolution for a 3050. I'd recommend dropping it, you'll probably be able to play at a much higher framerate, and with much better settings at a lower resolution. That's a LOT of resolution to push and on a small 14" laptop screen, you'll notice the lower textures a lot more than you will the lower resolution.
  9. In your graphics settings, bump your shaders from "low" to "medium". Should fix it.
  10. Had this happen the other day as well. Even logging off didn't fix it. I eventually fixed it by binding a key to the action camera toggle and toggling it, which will also work if you're somewhere that can't mount when you notice it's glitched.
  11. I do find the lack of the vamp relic as a curious case. On the one hand, the new Defender rune is much more applicable to instanced content, where shared aegis and blocks from large telegraphed attacks are common, and the Vampirism rune was only really usable in open world. But on the flip side, if vampire runes could only really be exploited in the open world, were they really a problem that needed correcting? As far as I know, they weren't being abused anywhere ANet is concerned about balance.
  12. While I eventually had the event spawn, I was able to get the cellar POI by just running in with raptor leaps. You don't even have to get all that far in before you get the POI (though I eventually made it all the way into the cellar, as I wasn't aware there was an event and I wanted to see what was in there). However, I agree. Either the event should spawn very frequently, there should be another way in, or another way to get the POI (such as running in before getting kicked out).
  13. Hot dog, let's goooooo! The mursaat were a mystery even in GW1, and after Lazarus was dead and the Eye gone, I thought that was it. Mabon being a surprise character (and an enjoyable one, for me at least) and the hints left in SotO that there was more to the mursaat story were probably the two biggest "oooooh" moments! And now that I think about it, Aurene's foresight was restricted to pre-dragonvoid, which implies Glint's would have as well. So anything that happens with the mursaat now wouldn't have been visible... 🤔
  14. He's not wrong either. If you just want gold, I think the order is: 1g (6 AA) (6AA per gold) -> 1 mystic coin (9 AA) (~6AA per gold) -> Mastery Coffer (15 AA) -> 1g (30 AA) But after the gold and coins, it seems like they want to encourage banking other resources like clovers.
  15. I'm of mixed minds: On the one hand, crafting runes now will give you "some progress" towards a relic as well. On the other hand, the crafting cost of runes should be tuned down once the relic is released, as they have removed arguably the most significant part of why people build legendary runes. ~2.8k gold equivalent for stat changes is ridiculous. Once they compensate people for investing in runes already, there will probably be a hard date-switch where the price is adjusted and compensation is no longer given after that date. So crafting now costs more, but gets you progress toward the relic. Crafting later *may* be cheaper, but gets you no secondary progress.
