They might not count for the population if they're not active WvW'ers. Then again that was probably one of the problems with alliances, where there was talks about guilds not necessarily have slots for everyone in a guild in an alliance feature when large guilds like that, usually not strictly WvW oriented.

Not to mention the server, or any guild leads for that matter, can't decide who they are going to be linked to. Could be the server with people you're not getting along with, have an actual fight with out in the open, that has been a part of a drama going on for years or just some people you're really, really tired of, and so far you've been stuck with them for eight weeks unless someone flips out the gems to move.

Could be, yeah. I just know what I have heard and encountered tho, it might be that in other teams or mu's there's more location information. Seen my share of warclaws running on the spot without any riders on them before they disappear though. -

Actually barely seen any rubbermanding. Less than usual even. People are complaining about skill lag and latency issues though. -

We haven't found any common denominator in our squads so far, and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with real life locations, settings or equipment either when we have gone into details. Doesn't seem to be anything to do with the enemy so far that we have seen. Just that for some what is already bad gets worse when you get more people moving around in the same place. I have tried several accounts on two computers and haven't had any lag at all so far. Knock on wood. -
Well, I am - and probably several others - glad that you have had a good experience with your server, or world, or what you want to call it. The world for me is Tyria, if y you want to nitpick. Good for you! Perhaps you could be kind enough to show the same level of understanding for those that haven't? And that perhaps the people that's having the same experience as you are dwindling in a rate that makes this change necessary? And instead of just disregarding their experiences take a moment to reflect on it?

Do you all have lag spikes at the same time though? We have squads where some can barely play while for others it's almost better than usual? -
We seem to be somewhat confused, if people aren't in the team/world the guild is supposed to be, they can write their info there, that's what I thought you were saying, sorry if I misunderstood. If guilds are in different worlds/teams, it means they are going by themselves as a guild, rather than in a community guild or alliance guild or something like that, and that's their choice. Forcing someone to do an alliance guild if they don't want to is exactly what can't be done, so in that way there's more freedom for both people and guilds to not be "held hostages" as someone so eloquently put it somewhere else.

Yes, there should have been some more in game. But we literally had devs in our alliance guilds on reset on EU so they were on the ball right away. As things progressed it went word by mouth in both discords, team chats, guild chats, what have you. And somehow people are posting and ranting over several posts and threads in the beta forum about how horrible this all is and how everyone is separated but not actually even peeking into the thread growing by the minute, made by a dev, stating something about an beta issue?

If there's people that still haven't gotten in the right place, they should go and post their info here. This thread has been the next to top most one in the beta forums at almost all times after reset. They started fixing it right after reset, kept fixing it throughout the weekend and are still at it.
