I don't see how FOMO comes into this considering that the mount skin packs don't really go anywhere, they are rotated. If, say, the next pack includes a Lithosol skin, that still won't complete the cycle so people might hold off. It's really not a FOMO thing, it's a case of not appreciating the matchy-matchy mentality enough. Literally missing out on sales.
Also WOW, this got merged into the wrong thread. It's nothing to do with QoL and everything to do with Gemstore wishes.

So at the moment, there's exactly one fully completed themed mount cycle, and even that is the vaguely "stuff is on fire, yo" one. If you exclude the Siege Turtle, there are only three otherwise complete cycles: Exalted, Starry and Branded (EDIT: actually, also Ice, so four). Why?

How do you folks not realize how much MMO players (and people at large with latent OCD) like to have EVERY SINGLE MOUNT they own match? I'm sure you have your spreadsheets telling you that, I dunno, the Lithosol or Geode style mounts don't get picked as much as the other ones, but that could be precisely BECAUSE the themed cycle is far from complete and players fear that it might never be!
I'm not even going to go into the fact that it'd be much more convenient for players if those themed skins were all in the same pack. Have it your way, spread them around the packs if you want to. But please consider finishing those cycles, you might see people picking them up more often when the cycles are complete.

...that will never get fixed but I gotta vent, okay? Two of these are bugging me ever so much.
First there's the male (at least, haven't checked female) human animation at the start of forward movement. Unlike any other race, the char just slides forward for a few beats before he starts running and once you notice that, it's impossible to unnotice.
Then there's the asura animation when you stop with a pistol equipped in MH (and drawn). It's actually the weirder one because asura animations are mostly ridiculously good and clearly made with love but... it snaps horribly back into the regular standing animation, very jarring and genuinely stopping me from using a MH pistol on asura toons.
There we go, just needed to get that off my chest. As you were.

I don't find it particularly annoying tbh. It's just a bit of a challenge to spice up those fights and it's easy to manage.

Well, you tried MM necro and specifically ruled out the elite specs so... I guess the next best option would be a ranger. An extra AI damage sponge is what makes solo OW easy. Failing that, a good option would be a guardian or a warrior traited to heal on meditations and shouts, respectively. Having a utility bar full of skills that heal you is another way of making OW easier.

I recently noticed people tagged up for metas in LFG appending numbers to their listings (often with a dot in front, like "north .43"). I've played this game since 2014 (with a break of about a year) and I've only started noticing that in the last couple of weeks. What's that all about?

Geez, following commanders? Guild raids?! How is that the lowest level of contribution you could think of? I'm not even in a guild. I wait for the other shmoes to flip the areas closest to the spawn fortress thing so I can flip them back again once they're gone and hopefully keep my participation up. Then I collect my Gift of Battle and try not to reflect too much on the time wasted in this mode.

Why would they remove something that is perfectly playable? Some people might actually want to play dungeons. Yes, they're barely supported but your argument is just... pure nonsense.
