  1. I smell lies. Or at least some high exaggeration.
  2. Yeah I'm not jazzed about a 20USD robo dog. It looks fine but in my opinion should not have been in the Synergetics line. I mean goodness, we have the Primal Spirit looking incredibly different from the jackal. Something other than a robo dog would have been awesome and would fit the original two Synergetics theme far better. Again, the robo dog is fine and all but I think it really should have been in another line. The Synergetics line now has half the mounts looking like an entirely different line of skins from the other half. I'd been hoping for a long time now for a Synergetics jackal replacement because the jackal itself just isn't my thing at all. Oh well. I guess I'll keep hoping that one day there will be a jackal I enjoy.
  3. I still want more bone themed armors and weapon skins ala Godskull/Boneskinner style. Think Heilung, with beautifully natural leathers and teeth and bones. Give us that dark shaman style and WITHOUT particle effects, please. Would buy all the things. Even mounts. Dark shaman mounts covered in leather and bone. Boneskinner, sans any silly poison fog. Edgy, fun, neat. Would buy much.
  4. Don't get me wrong, I love the Wizard's Vault far more than the tired old system. But Anet, I also loved my monthly clovers. 7 may not be all that much but it was a really nice little bonus at the end of each month that guaranteed a slow but steady income over time outside of Mystic Forge gambling sessions where RNG is king. Last season was around two and a half months and we got 20 clovers. That was a little more than the usual 7 clovers per month. This season however we get the same 20 clovers but stretched out over one week shy of four full months. That's a full month's worth of clovers we lose out on from the old system. Again, don't get me wrong, this is neither a whine nor a complaint, just pointing out something I thought an interesting change. It would be really nice going forward to have the clovers match the length of time for the season in order to receive the same ~7 clovers per month per season. That's all. I just like my free clovers. Small as it is, it was my favorite part of the monthly chart. Yes I can buy them, but the assured monthly clovers were a very nice supplement to the gambling hall, especially with the current prices of coins. Anyway, have fun out there.
  5. Still broken. Still un-interactable. Simply no prompt. Prompt not exist. No can interact. Not possible do cauldron. Unpossible click button. Button is unexist.
  6. Oh yeah the ending was complete and utter trash. The entire Champions chapter writing was dumpster quality and I don't feel that's hyperbolic in any way. I felt actually embarrassed to be playing that chapter when I went through it. It was.... not good. Other than spectacular visuals in the last fight, there are no redeeming qualities about the final chapter and its conclusion. Everything up to that point was incredible I thought, even the controversial second part of Drizzlewood. Sadly, I think we're just going to have to let it be. It feels so bad and will mar an otherwise largely fun storyline but I think at this point it may be entirely too late to salvage it. Though if they ever tried, I'd so be down to see what they did, even if it was through fractals like you suggest. That might be a best case scenario for the wreckage of that storyline. Maybe instead of them being physically teleported it would just be seeing alternate endings or fragments of alternate events surrounding the end of Primo and Jorgy and maybe something actually interesting about their champions. I don't know. I'm just as disappointed as you and I wish Champions just didn't exist. And I thought WoW's BfA and Shadowlands were some of the worst writing I'd encountered in an MMO.....
  7. Beautiful gatekeeping post. You know what? I've done a lot of grind and you know what sucks? A lot of grinds. Let people come in who have real jobs and families and lives of their own and enjoy the game in much the same way as we who did the grind years ago when we had more free time. I'm all for lessening the grind. Hell if I want to be pompous and show off my I Was There badge I can just show my achievements from my various grinds from this or other games. Hurray. Nah, this is big L take. Let the new people come in and enjoy the game too. The skyscale grind was fun in that it was actually horrible and I can say "yay, I did that." Yay. Now others can fly too. This is good.
  8. Adding my two cents here as well - this needs to be removed. It's a ridiculous add to the daily pool that Anet has known to be broken since EoD released, at least. Anet, remove it. Please. You can't seem to fix it and that's okay I guess but you also really need to not make it a requirement for your new daily system. While the dungeon is a great idea, it's terrible in execution when so commonly, more than one person attempting it have so much trouble getting the dungeon to register completion at various stages, entirely breaking progression of the event chain.
  9. That's about it. Just the title. Anet I love the new daily system but Valdhertz crypts bugs out so frequently with more than one person doing it that it causes necessary mobs to simply not spawn or event completion to just flat out not register. It's a great little dungeon idea but horrid in that it's usually completely busted with a plethora of bugs and now when it shows up as a daily, nearly nobody can do it. Please remove Valdhertz Crypts from the daily pool. You've known it's been broken since day 1. Don't put it in the kitten dailies.
  10. Chiming in to simply say that I much prefer the new daily system. Provided the dailies don't put broken objectives like Valdhertz Crypts that Anet has known to be broken since day 1 in the pool. But aside from that it's been just lovely. I love the selection, I love the choice and the 3 dailies really don't ask that much more of us.
  11. I'm thoroughly enjoying the expansion. Unmitigated disaster my kitten, it's a good time. Who cares if they reused assets? The new daily system is awesome. More dailies, less choice in each one but far greater returns overall and having the choice is just so nice. You don't speak for most of us, thankfully. My guilds all seem to be enjoying themselves quite thoroughly as well.
  12. Good to know. Be nice if point acquisition was clearer to those of us who are newer.
  13. And not very fun if you have responsibilities calling you away on the daily, keeping you from achieving said weekly. Don't get me wrong, the festival events are a lot of fun but for those of us with lives and jobs and responsibilities outside of game, the new weapon skins are nigh impossible to obtain every week with how few points the activities award you toward the festival weekly achievement. The skins are gorgeous but having to sit around waiting for so many events that give you hardly any points at all every week isn't always possible time investment for a lot of us. I realize it's just skins so ultimately it doesn't matter but when you're 11 points away from tier 2 of the second week only to have to go to bed because real life demands it and it took so long to get there in the first place that you can't go any longer and then get off work the next day to find out the weekly reset and you got jack kitten isn't very fun or worth any further time investment. I'm just venting. I love the game but I'd gone into this festival being excited for it but now it just feels soul sucking. Anet, why must this event attempt to keep us chained this hard to the festival just to get the new skins? It sucks to lose out on one of only 4 possible drops this year and that's incredibly disappointing. Anyway I'm sure a lot of you have differing opinions and that's fine but I just wanted to vent. I missed this week's after getting SO CLOSE and getting nothing for it because life said otherwise. And no, a Favor of the Festival is not adequate compensation for 189/200 points. Anet, it's just kittening dumb. Yes yes, leave your little confused or cry emojis. It's just a vent post.
  14. Oh that's just stupid, you know what I meant. Unlocked powers and account upgrades related to masteries like mounts, gliders, jade bots, speed boosts in friendly areas, boat, fishing, everything related to masteries. You're intentionally picking a dumb point in an attempt to sound intelligent ya mug. Don't blame Anet for your unwillingness to read the no-diving sign at the shallow lake before you dive headfirst.
  15. That's pure blindness on your part. That information was easy to find and should have been a given for WvW. Nothing you gain in PvE works in WvW. Why in the world would the jade bot? That's entirely on you. That's not robbery lmao
