  1. It needs tuning down a fair bit. Remove a stack of condi or two from magic bullet/some axe skill and its probably fine.
  2. 2V2 will always be degenerate and about counter-speccing more than skill with a well-rounded build.
  3. Burning isn't fine. It does too much on too many classes and stacks too easily. Burning needs a minor reduction then all condi specs would be fine.

Gazelles a outlier within the pet list and is definitely overperforming but the rest are fine. Effective doesnt automatically mean OP.Nah they all do too much. It was an unintended consequence from nerfing all the damage that pets are now OP. Nerf them all. Nerf gazelle more.

  6. Yeh but 50% nerf to the entire death magic trait line....that line is dead now.Blood magic also provides much less sustain as martyr will give 12% life force everytime.
  7. The problem with death magic was unholy sanctuary. End of story. It is lame and needed a longer icd and to do less heal to the necro. But instead you destroyed the entire trait line. You nerfed carapace by 50%, which is a 50% nerf to 7 TRAITS in this trait line. You essentially, in one move, eradicated the death magic trait line from the game. Instead of just nerfing the single trait that was the problem. I just came back to the game after 6 years and liked this trait line, its a shame to see it be ruined because of a single trait (unholy sanctuary) over-performing. Imagine getting 7 traits nerfed by 50% in a single patch.
  8. Mesmer is still very strong as it has been everytime I ever played the game.
  9. Anet are stuck in 2005 where they think any communication is bad because if they change their mind then they "promised something and didn't deliver it". In reality, all lack of communication/transparency does is make people quit your game. Which is what happened to GW2. The industry has changed and people expect fast patches and clear communication like in league of legends and fortnite. Anet's lack of communication and patching schedule is unacceptable in 2020 and as a result their game is in terminal decline.
  10. No lol. Every class has good stun break utilities that are overloaded. Look at shadowstep for example.
  11. The only problem with necro is unholy sanctuary. Everything else is fine. That is the clear problem trait though
  12. 1, Unholy sanctuary. Lich is good because you can't die during it due to this trait. The trait is just way too strong in general. It is a passive survival trait like the ones that were nerfed to have 300s internal cool downs. But you didn't nerf unholy sanctuary. 2, My suggestion is to give it a 300 second cooldown. Obviously this doesn't fix it for 2v2 but you have to decide if you care about 2v2 balance because you cannot balance for both modes (which makes it strange to have only 2v2 after a huge balance update but nvm). 3, Alternatively you can just reduce the health gain which is OP. Make it gain 1% of health every 3 seconds rather than every second. 4, Then also nerf signet of undeath to have less passive life force gain. And nerf lich autos by about 20-30%. 5, That is it. Necro can now be punished when their death shroud is on cooldown, and doesn't regen a ton of health in death shroud. And tanky necros cannot kill anyone with lich anymore.
