August 2nd Update: Store something something Bug fixes Some other minor UI fix Bug fixes Profession changes: All professions except Warrior: something minor nerfed, something minor buffed, maybe even multiple variations of this Warrior: All of your hopes and dreams for any ounce of sympathy or understanding will be demolished with what can only logically be willfull blindness. Dragon Trigger now grants 1 ammo to all Gunblade skills. All banners now apply .5 seconds of Confusion to up to 10 allies.

Just checked the patch notes today, nothing under warrior. Don't get me wrong, it sucked being shoehorn into a support build for years if you wanted to do group content, cuz banners. Guess that problem has been fixed but maybe I'm just not seeing the crazy dps builds warriors have that do other stuff too, like certain professions.

Well I do have my 10 year old engi too. Playing him is like a million times easier, unkillable, and I'm not the only engi anymore if I do. The green mech though, it's hideous.

Being lazy I took this out in my full celestial gear, just swapped to a zerker rifle I had laying around, and still puts out silly dmg while being pretty much unkillable.

Yep hopped over to my engineer to see the rifle changes, it's insanely good. Perma fury alacrity 25 might and selfish quickness. Super fun and easy, using celestial gear to be an unkillable god while machine gunning everything in range.

Good to hear. After my absence I wasn't sure if anet would fix warrior's ever or eventually nerf them into being unable to still do open world. Good to see there's still 1 game mode you can play them in for now.

Mainly open world, story, probably some fractals and wvw on the side. My days of organized group coordinated play are pretty much long gone, with family and work taking priority. Gw2 is something to do when I can, hour or so a day, maybe 1 day a week at 4ish hours. So yeah nothing serious, saw all the changes but haven't been back long enough to see fully what BS is all about. Still using a full zerker set but a greatsword MMR shout heal build. Seems pretty sturdy for full zerk and those DT1 hits are pretty juicy. I can understand the destruction of the bannerslave is a huge hit to raiders or serious players, but maybe in another 5 years warrior will have a group build with no banners that is competitive.

Been gone for a while playing other games, came back to check out the new expansion. Looks like shout/heal BS will be a goto?

So the complaint is from people who paid nothing from the game that they didn't pay for an expansion either, and they can't complete a new event for people with the mount to have fun in? What about the fun the mounted people get to have since they PAID? Should they not be given any fun as PAYING customers? Surely those who haven't put forth a single cent cant deny the PAYING customer fun? Get off your high horse and spend some money.
