About your question. But you already have separate templates? Each character made come with two weapon templates: One for PvE and one for WvW, with PvP being hidden in both. And each character comes with 3 build tabs: One for each game mode. I'm not saying I disagree, I just want to make sure your question is answered. I also think templates being sold to us is a convenience cash grab for sure, especially since you had unlimited build space (I think locally) on GW1. I actually haven't bought any and if I want more templates, instead of buying one of each, it costs the same gems to buy a character slot, which comes with 2 equipment and 3 build templates instead of just the 1.

I just wish each piece was locked behind a ton of collection open world/story content/achievements like the amulet in Season of Dragons. It'd be something less of a time commitment for me that I could chip away at on my own, like I've done with all my other legendaries so far.

Virtuoso made Mesmer actually playable for me, same with Willbender for Guardian. With Virtuoso, I don't have to micromanage and load up clones with every fight, and blades seem to materialize out of nowhere. Willbender for me over tome anxiety. Props to you heal brands, but me pressing one button to have an effect proc every several hits is way easier for me. I still play my renegade all the time too, I'll never forget him.

I think I'd actually buy legendary armor from the gem store. Convenience for a casual player.

There are so many "lore" achievements that I've really been enjoying. "Looking Back" and "A Guardian Once More" to name a couple. Restoring Arborstone to make it feel more lived in, it's all been really enjoyable to find out what's happened over the last hundred+ years.

Title basically says it all. My guild of friends has recruited quite a few members with access to varying amounts of content. We have played GW1 extensively and were so excited to try to claim the new Hall in our favorite continent. However, we're worried for our members who only have the core game and/or Heart of Thorns content. Will they still be able to visit their Guild's Guild Hall? We don't want to put the work in to claim it only to have to return to the jungle.

Skills don't always activate when in action camera mode "Need a target to se this skill" when I have a target selected. Also, when an ally is targeted in action cam, using skills overrides the target to the nearest available enemy to ally target.
