  1. I just did a retest, and it appears that this bug doesn't care about the Soothing Power trait at all. Additionally, depending on attunement combinations with weaver it actually heals on the third pulse like it should, except it heals for less than the previous 2 pulses. (keeping in mind it's 1 pulse per second) Just a couple quick examples in the guild hall arena next to a force generator that also hits once per second: This screenshot shows the soothing mist not happening at all on the third pulse (i was on weaver attuned to water/air here)https://i.imgur.com/aaEOxEe.jpg This screenshot shows the soothing mist actually happening when it should but healing less than it's supposed to when each pulse should be the same amount (attuned to water/fire)https://i.imgur.com/bVnWo5L.jpg So elite specializations don't get affected from this bug, only core? Does the third pulse that heals you less only occurs on core specializations and not elite specializations? With just core spec the third weaker pulse never occurs at all.Edit: Further testing just reveals that this trait in general is just very messy, I'm getting double soothing mist heals per second sometimes for a short while after swapping around attunments, other times it heals for 10% on the third pulse, and sometimes not at all like i've said before. It seems that the way this trait is being reapplied every 3 seconds is extremely inconsistent, especially when changing away from water attunement and back again. Also are you sure you're seeing the 80 health pulses every single second?Yes, I am sure. What's worse is that I tested this bug again and it turns out that it isn't even the third pulse. Sometimes it can give you 78 health on the fifth pulse. You're right about Soothing Mists' healing being inconsistent.

Does the third pulse that heals you less only occurs on core specializations and not elite specializations? Edit: I did some testing with core elementalist. What I noticed is that once you attune to water, you get 80 health from Soothing Mist. I did notice that on the third pulse you get 78 health. It's starts like: 80, 80, 78, 80, 80. It's only bugged on the third pulse. After the third pulse, it keeps giving you 80 health.
  3. Are you sure you're not mixing Soothing Mist for Soothing Power? If that's not the case then does this apply to core specializations, elite specializations or both?
  4. I think bandage blast should be changed to something like Medical Kit Supply, and drop a medpack on the ground that heals allies (and the self) around it for however many seconds, then disappears. The idea comes from the game Battlefield 3/4, where the medics drop a medkit and if you're near it, you're slowly healed over time. Of course, on gw2 there would have to be a short uptime to prevent the said med pack from being OP as heck. But it could also be great for a little mobility in terms of how you support your allies. My recommendation is to make Bandage Blast similar to the toolbelt skill from Supply Crate, Med Pack Drop. I'd love to see Bandage Blast like this. It would also be nice if the bandages have labels like the revenants' tablets so allies can see and pick them up to heal themselves. Another thing with the bandages is that you can also pick them up yourself. Some may say that this will be unbalanced that the engineer can pick these bandages every 8 seconds, that this will make the bunker engineer even stronger. I don't think that it will be that bad. Quite frankly, it's about time engineer, especially core engineer gets some love when it comes to his kits. Now all that's left are to buff the rest of the kits.
  5. The unranked matchmaker takes into account your rank and your profession. Your rank so that you're not playing against really good and really high level players and your profession so that profession stacking is prevented. Skill rating is only determined by the ranked matchmaker.
  6. A lower cooldown on Infusion Bomb I'm pretty indifferent about. I find it to be not a hugely impactful skill as the boons granted are pretty common. The reason for me wanting to reduce the cooldown on Infusion Bomb is not because of the boons, but because it's a blast finisher and being able to do the Med Kit rotation 4, 3, 5, extra blast finisher more often would be a step in the right direction and would make support engineer more impactful. When Cleansing Field goes off cooldown, Infusion Bomb is not off cooldown, so you're left with skipping 5 from the rotation to the extra blast finisher like the one from the Elixir Gun. I do think that it would work better if Bandage Blast worked like the way I suggested. In its' current state you have to be really close to someone in order to heal them. I believe that being able to throw bandages at allies using the ammo system would make it more consistent.
  7. I agree. It would be nice to reduce the cast time, since you get nothing from the skill other than healing. I was thinking if this skill used the ammo system and you had up to 5 bandages. This and being able to target allies and shoot one bandage at them at a time would make the skill more consistent. These are some nice suggestions. While I love the rework on the Med Kit, I think it can be made even better. Other things that I'd like to be improved with the kit are: Reduce the cooldown on Infusion Bomb from 30 seconds to 20 secondsIncrease the healing on Med Blaster. Also, remove the increased healing allies get from the number of boons they have. It sucks that in order for Med Blaster to be useful, your allies needs to have a plentiful amount of boons.
  8. There are two ways to disable gliding: go to no gliding zones/jumping puzzles or unbind the jump key.
  9. Equip yourself in Magi gear to get the most out of Soothing Mist. Also, use the trait Soothing Power to double the amount of health you and your allies get from Soothing Mist.
  10. First of all, the title is off topic. Second of all, yeah I agree it would be nice to remove crafting disciplines from a character and remove all the progress you had in that discipline.
  11. Neat idea, but I can't see it being implemented in PvE that well. Dueling in PvE will put some professions at a disadvantage. What I mean by this is that let's say we have a duel between a ranger and an engineer. The engineer is at a disadvantage because the engineer doesn't have cover to use or to LoS the ranger. The engineer would be out of cover all the time and by the time he injures the ranger, he would be dead by then. There's a reason why dueling only happens in PvP maps. The maps are made for all professions to fight in and use the environments and higher grounds to their advantage in fights.
  12. Very interesting. Protection Injection got nerfed and the protection boon is not worth that much and Invigorating Speed is pointless if you're running the Tools specialization for the increased endurance regeneration. I really like the idea for this trait being changed like this, it'll work similar to how core Elementalist cleanses conditions running the Water and Arcane specializations, where you can swap to water attunement every 8 seconds, apply regeneration on yourself and allies and cleanse a condition to those you grant regeneration. Good thinking, Chaith.
