Needs more torment.

Stealth has been nerfed years ago with the revealed debuff they added. Keep in mind all you need to do is use an aoe, or cleave and you can actually "accidentally" kill a thief.

They haven't even mentioned sPvP at all in any of the dev updates. I think they forgot it exists....

After 9 years they nerf infiltrator's arrow... still not used to only getting 2 in a row instead of 3. Such a dumb nerf, and no reason given. Thief's only advantage over other classes is mobility and even that gap is narrowing as other classes gain more mobility.

Makes me worried for thief in this expansion. Thief relies so much on being a mobile class and not a duelist.

I'd love to see a new Conquest PvP map that's larger, 10v10 and utilizes a new PvP only mount that's only available in the new map. Or, a map that allows gliding and has different ways to get around the terrain.

Unfortunately Sanctum of Rall is linked with Northern Shiverpeaks, and Darkhaven is linked with Henge of Denravi so you wouldn't be able to do WvW with us. But! You could join the guild and Discord so that you can participate in other Thief group activities we have planned for the future! 🙂

Yup! We are NA, sorry forgot to mention that. The great thing about thief roaming is that we can do it with a group of any size, we'd just have to change our objectives based on the size of the group. Another thing to add, we aren't necessarily looking for veterans of GW2 or the thief class. We are open to all thieves who'd like to join, and we love helping new thieves learn the "Tricks" of the trade. So if you're interested let us know! Also, if you know of any other thieves that might like to jump in an all thief group bring them along! 🙂

Hmmm... I think I might know the match you're referring to. You're spot on too. Sometimes the thief only needs to create a distraction or diversion to help win the match. You won't get any badges for doing that but it might just be the thing that turns the tide. To the point of the original post... It sounds to me like you're doing everything in your power to do what needs to be done within your role as a thief, and you're trying to get better at it. Keep your head up, ignore the hate (you'll continue to see a lot of it) and keep on doin what your doin. Thief is the scapegoat of all lost matches. It's nothing new, and it's not going to change. The only thing we can do as thieves is try to fill the job as a roamer as best we can, increase our map awareness, and try not to die. Good luck out there!

Okay, so Saturday night at 9:30 est we will be gathering in Darkhaven for an all thief WvW roaming squad. If you are interested in joining in on the mayhem message either myself or @Lithril Ashwalker.6230. This is strictly an all thief squad, and currently we will be focused on just getting everyone together and seeing who all is interested. Considering Saturday night a "Test run" of sorts. If all goes well we have a Deadeye rifle build we'd like to try out, using Collateral Damage. Hope to see you guys there!
