Yes. And it is not good looking that it stays grey (and does not show the active item) even when you use all 4 novelty-slots.

So please make an on/off switch (also for the mount button above) to show/hide the button. Or at least make it bigger and show the icon of the selected novelty.

  2. Ist been some time now, but both achievement-IDs are still invalid in the API request. But users of www.gw2gh.com have these achievements in their account-data, so I see them everyday in the local error log as "achievement not found" errors.

Please whitelist them like it was done in the past. If I remember correct, it was not a big deal in the past to do this.Thanks.

  3. I control my movement direction with WASD and the right mouse-button, with the left mouse button I turn the camera without changing my movement directions. So, instead of turn left/right I use strafe left/right (and use my mouse). The keys 6-0 I have reassigned the QERFV around the WASD for better access.Because keys 6-0 were unused, I have assigned the mount/dismount keys to them which makes mounting/dismounting fast. The Special Action key that is needed a lot is now on X (and interact is V).

So all important skills that I need in combat are easy and fast accessible from my left hand without looking on the keyboard.

One problem remains for me: F1-F5 are not very easy accessible and are "far away" for my fingers and for example with Scourge, that uses a lot F1-F5,I am not as fast as with the other keys and sometimes press the wrong buttons. But I guess that is still a "learn to play" thingy. :)

Here are my most important keybinds:

Another Idea: Give special titles to players that stayed loyal to their server and never transferred to other servers.

Yes it does, and it is intended since HoT. It is called a Metroidvania game-style. check: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metroidvania

If that sort of thing doesn't interest you they should simply add a instant waypoint to where you would like to be since you do not want to deal with the actual game itself.

If you do not want this sort of thing and you do not want to "skip blocks/obstacles", no one forces you to do.

It severely diverges from GW1 game design where even small maps felt vast.

A surprise for you: GW2 is not an expansion of GW1. GW2 is a totally different game with a different game design. GW2 is just in the same world and uses the same lore as GW1.

I understand, you do not like it. That is a valid opinion. But (most) others like it and I am pretty sure it will stay in the game. So get used to it.

    • Maps/Artwork/Design/Sound: Breathtaking and amazing. Brilliant. So much attention to detail in these maps. But it feels like there are not very much events and event chains on this maps. Give us a good and fun reason (besides exploration) to re-visit these maps and to stay on them longer.
    • Story: Good, with some surprises. Much better storytelling than in HoT.
    • Mounts: In the trailer and the demo I found the mounts/raptor a little bit lackluster. But after having all 5 mounts and learned how to use and combine them, they are totally fun, each in its own way. How you expanded the "flying-travel" in HoT in a spectacular way you did again with "mount-travel" in PoF and expanded the way how we can travel the maps in a very, very fun way.
    • New Elite specs: Haven't tried them out, yet. Not a priority for me.
    • Server crashes and login problems of the first days: Totally sucked.

My overall verdict: The Expansion is fun and absolutely worth its money/price. I love PoF and strongly recommend it to my friends (and others).

  6. @Troublesome.5670 said:I recently made an AHK (autohotkey) script that uses mouse scroll wheel to cycle through a selection of my in-game keybindings (such as Numpad4, which is my bind for Raptor mount) and saves that selection as I stop on it.

This doesn't send any keystrokes to the game yet, just saves the selection to memory. It then takes this selection and binds it to another key for mount/dismount.It also throws an overlay up letting me know which current bind/mount my selection is on.

So I can choose which mount I want to select (still not sending keystrokes to game yet) ,then press my dynamic mount/dismount key (which sends the appropriate saved keystroke to the game) to call that specific mount.

So you still have a two-step process

    1. select mount (with mouse wheel)
    2. use mount key

Why don't you bind every mount to its own, fixed mount key in the game options? This way you can directly press the key of the mount you want to mount in one step.

  7. @Ashantara.8731 said:Also, the frequent need to change between mounts, which per se can get quite frustrating, isn't helped either with this additional level of annoyance.

You can bind a individual mount-dismount-key for every mount in your options. With this individual-mount-keys, switching mounts is faster and feels more fluid (if you don't have aggro).

  8. @MithranArkanere.8957 said:Sometimes just making a new character and casually playing the game like new player without boosters and slowly exploring and leveling with gameplay can be a refreshing experience.

If you really want this you should make a new account and not only a new character. There is a lot of account-bound stuff that changes the leveling experience and gameplay.
