While i have read many times that this is not possible, im wondering why can't we at least guest on "the other side"...? It is posible to transfer but not to guest... why not actually? It could be limited like once a day or 3 times a week or something... I don't know... I would love it... I'm on EU and have a second account on US but its only core (not a f2p, its a payed one but whithout the expansions) and i dont really play it cause i don't have the time to build that one up too. Also i wouldn't transfer because i have friends on EU and a much better ping (around 35 on EU vs 300 on US) but still... sometimes i'd like to make a virtual tripp and play on the US servers - as i played my US account i remember you had such a nice community over there - imo, better than EU. So Anet... let us guest pls :)

Banning the ppl or taking out the loot of a spot (the "farmer" would simply move to the next spot) is not the proper way to solve this issue - at least imho. Maybe having minions like we had in GW1 - with a strong life degeneration, which you could heal but only with care because you had to sacrifice your own hit points for that. At least it would be harder if not impossible to farm afk like that. Might still work if ppl are properly playing though and thats totally ok.

I don't think its okay that someone who doesn't play the game properly is getting any sort of loot.But this is happening for a long time meanwhile. I do report them - cause there is not more that i can do - but it is ANet's decision to do or not to do something in this case. I keep seeing these "afk-necros" in many places so i doubt something really happens. Look at the ibogas (wherever you have iboga groups - you have some necros afk-ing there).I even saw a group of them stacking at the broodmother champion in Frostgorge Sound. I mean... other ppl organise themselves in groups to kill those champs or kill them alone for the fun or what-ever. I dont think "its working as intended" that someone who is watching netflix or is simply not in front of the computer should be rewarded for having some skills on auto cast.And imho removing the loot from certain (farmed) mobs (like Bitterfrost spiders) is not the answer - it cant be.

Its a "Feature" that came with the big april-update for Windows 10 (not sure about the other versions)... very annoying :/ and it has been discussed here https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/38377/game-flashing-desktop-on-loading-screens#latest as well. There is a way to shorten the time you see the desktop (it is mentioned in the thread) but afaik no way to remove it completely yet.

Same issue here too after i got the update yesterday. Its just annoying :/ - is it only Nvidia btw ? (GTX 1060 here)

Every race works for me but human female - why? because i cant stand when, as a berserker, she calls "i will destroy you all!" - its SO annoying... :sI have a female norn and a male charr wariors and i love them both.

well.. i tried during late-afternoon/evening almost every day this week (stood there, did the heart at the venjin palace + all events there - even twice =) cause its boring otherwise), then as i completed the map yesterday i looked many times if it is up. I dont think i could have miss it... Didnt know though that you dont have the inGame message "there is a race..." in Vabbi. Why not actually? Anyway... I'll keep trying but while waiting for it and talking to friends i came to the idea that it might be deactivated or something. Didn't have any problems with the races on the other maps.. They always occured after a certain time (like 20 min or so) Only this one seems to have some issues.

Sorry for necroing this thread but i think my question fits here.. During the last week i was trying to attempt the Vabbi mount race since its the last one i miss from Track Record achievement (Complete each race in Crystal Oasis, Desert Highlands, Elon Riverlands, the Desolation, and the Domain of Vabbi) and it wasnt up no matter what time i was looking for it. Yesterday i completed the map on a char (cause just waiting is boring ) and during the whole time i spent on the map (must have been over an hour since i have done some events as well) the race didnt start even once. Does anyone know ? Is this race deactivated? Is it linked with some events which must be done before it starts or something?

You might like Frostbite Blue and/or Frostbite Green. They are almost as bright as Permafrost but with a blue or green touch and a cheaper.. i use the blue one and many ppl asked already if its Permafrost.
