I have finished this achievement yesterday -whithout any guides or multi-maps or what-ever. It took like2 days but i must admit that i didnt have much time to play so maybe it can be done faster if someone has more time to spend half-afk I simply parked 3 chars at bridges and switched between them while beeing half afk (btw the NPC starts talking when an event start - so its usefull to have the ingame Sounds on)Also - the events occure only until the camps have reached lvl 4 - after that not anymore. They start after map reset and restart every 15 min. You have a def event and if that one fails, the rebuild event will start afterwards.This achivement sounds harder / more annoying to get than it is (imo).

This thing is something especially "funny" when you just finished a pre event for for example Shatterer and crash.. and on relog you land on an empty map xD - happened to me yesterday. Cause yeah.. my game still crashes from time to time as well..Edit:// since i had the same issue on my brother's laptop, i must admit that i did't reinstall my OS. Did the rest just as UnderWater posted above though.

Thank you for the link, really usefull :)And yeah.. we can see there that magenta (i still think the mask is closest to the ingame magenta than any other dye) belongs as well to the purple as to the pink shades. Probably the pinkest (if there is such a word) shade among the other purples but still.... It's the edge where pink ends and purple begins (or vice versa) and might also explain why someone defines it as pink and someone else as purple.

I know.. same for me, reinstalled the game (as last thing i imagined it could help - a fresh installation) then i had my peace for like 3 days and now the crashes are back (at this moment i'm running the game archive repair). My graphic card driver is maybe one week old ( the last which NVIDIA has released) - nothing seem to help. As for the time ingame, its a bit different for me, sometimes 2 hours, sometimes 3 min.

It's a free skin, you can apply it once but after that you will need transmutation charges.

yeah =) guess its describes it quite accurate. Dont know.. for me purple is more (talking gw2 colors) like: black light, arcane, violite, fear, cobolt, blodstone indigo, even electro purple - less red than blue i guess?

Maybe its the different graphic settings - on everything max/ultra settings its magenta - same color as the magenta dye ingame. If not event the guild wars 2 deffinition of magenta (which is not violet Ashantara, im sorry) is not enough then i dont know how to describe it.

Have similar issues - my crash report looks like the one posted by UnderWater. Its just.. sometimes i get the message "gw2.exe failure" sometimes not even that - the game just closes itself. Sometimes a few times in a row. Last crash happened during updating - so i wasn't even in game, it came right after i started GW2. The game archive repair is running right now. As about when is it happening - sometimes i can run with a full zerg in wvw or play Dragonstand for like 2 hours (at full details) and have no issues and right after my game crashes while i go to my home instance - alone - to gather. So.. yeah, its sort of random. I checked my hardware as far as i could (software tests like fur benchmark for my graphic card, dxdiag, memory check etc) and everything seems to be OK.As for LavaSoft - i searched and didn't find anything, at least nothing with LavaSoft in its name. It's just soooo annoying :anguished:

The settings stay saved for me - all 3 are on/green - but didn't receive any confirmation email yet and yes, i have checked my spam directory as well.

I was waiting for this purple mask for a long time - i have even suggested it in the sticky-thread because i would need it for my purple sylvari. Now since I had already subscribed the GW2 and "ArenaNet and NCSOFT family of products" I only have added GW1 to my list. Don't know if its enough... haven't get anything yet, neither a confirmation email nor anything ingame. Guess i can only wait and hope to get it.

I like the Warclaw, even though i agree that it's quite similar to the griphon. But - as already mentioned here - it looks like a feline since the griphon is a feline as well and I'm ok with it. As for Skins.. i didn't get the new ones (wanted to buy 1-2but i don't need all 5 for now) I will most likely get some in the future. The first skins we got for the other mounts were not necessary the best (IMO). I'd like to see the Stardust and Primeval skin - would buy those for sure if they look so good on the warclaw like they do on the other mounts. Nonetheless neither the griphon nor the warclaw will ever top my raptor - this buddy is so perfect ^^ . I think he even got an update last year in september, with the fourth chapter - "A Star to Guide Us" of the current LS. Since then, he looks so curious around when u go to new places and its sounds have an echo in certain places. Or am i the only one who saw those - for that time - new features?

IMO GW2 needs an expansion now (or at least the confirmation that its gonna get one after the LS5) more than ever. Also i don't know about you guys but imo its not necessary to bring some special feature like the mounts or gliding (those were really cool though) - id be happy to get few maps with content on them, a nice story (maybe Malyck and the other Tree?) and maybe a few Dungeons? (NO, not raids and NO, not 2 more fractals or so) - dungeons. And the Elite specializations ofc ... Although i would love to go to Cantha, but im okay with another part of Tyria.And what i would also love to see, would be some love for PVP and WvW - Something like Hero's Ascent for PvP? - im not a pvp-er in gw2 but i loved HA in gw1 ^^A 3rd map for WvW - with new mechanics and stuff... so we have 3 different borderlands.

This is the worst POI to get so far due to the 2 (not 1 but 2!!) meta events that have to succed in order to get the plates. Events which are soloable okay, but meta events? Thats a bit too much imho. And the fact that you cant park a mesmer there to help others (friends, guildies etc.) makes it even worse. I get it that you shouldn't be able to open the chests whithout the plate - and thats fine, but just to be there and port ppl inside to get the POI or the achievement.. Didin't like that you needed the elixire which you couldn't mix unless you were doing or did the story on that character in order to get "that last POI" in Bitterfrost but now this is worse. It's even worse than Lake Doric, leather farm POI - since you still have sometimes groups that farm leather. Unless something really cool (Infusion, skin what-ever) has a chance to drop from those metas or from the chests inside that room i highly doubt ppl will do the meta events for long time (now its new, everyone is doing achievements and stuff). The map is very nice, but ppl won't do metas with a quite high chance to fail, which only give you random loot that you can get from doing some solo events in PoF or the other LS4 maps. Just why Anet....? :/

they did. And that's why i suggested the outfit because those don't clipp but could still have a real gw1-style cape not some sort of flag on your back. I mean... im fine without capes - not even in gw1 did i always display my guild cape even though it was nice imo.

I doubt we will get capes in gw2 - since they didn't implement them until now even though the community is asking for them since release. I am wondering though if it is possible to bring an outfit with cape - let's call it the guild outfit - which ppl can dye and display their guild emblem on the cape just as we had it in gw1. Might be a compromise.

Would it be possible to bring Canach's Backpack (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Canach%27s_Backpack )back to the gem store? Single skin would be nice, not as package if possible... pretty please :)

The only thing they did to prevent people from getting on the branch is to make it harder to reach. Forgot if it was an invisible wall or if they moved the branch. It still reachable. Not being able to hit Mordremoth is irrelevant since he gains massive damage reduction the first two times and the last time he is invulnerable anyway. With lag updrafts in general can send you much higher than intended. There might be other cases that can trigger that problem. If you don't need the achievement and not doing Migraine mode then you can just stand under the bubble with the NPCs. I didn't have lags at that time - 35-40 ping. Don't know what and how happened though ^^ I have done this mission so many times and even saw many bugs, like rifts opening outside the platform, basically in the air.. no chance to reach them. But this bug was new, even for me xD

Happened to me like10 min ago and no, i was not trying to get the achievement since i have it already. The gliding phase came so i just tried to reach an updraft to get airborne. The updraft kicked me out of the instance - saw the message "you are leaving the instance, turn back or you will be kicked" just for half of a second before seeing the loading screen for dragon stand.Its annoying but funny at the same time xD
