that is a part of the update process, have you checked if the process is still running? Do you have an antivirus which might block said execution? Have you tried running the game as administrator?

This issue has resurfaced for me since last nights patch again, 2 patches behind it got introduced, the previous one fixed, it and the current one broke everything again, so much for spending cash to get gems or w/e >.>

well one thigns for sure said patch fixed the gem store crash for me.

Actually that's a good point, was planning on getting keys for the skimmer, but oh well xDD

Sorry to say your not the only one having this issue mate, so far there is no fix, some ppl are reporting it just goes away on its own. Here's another thread for this issue in the bug section.

Has anyone found a solution for the gem store crash issue, as using the "O" to open gem store/tp results in an immediate crash for me, it is also a problem if the gem store is opened by accident while doing activities. I've send multiple reports about it, but so far nothing.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this issue, i've been crashing like crazy every time i try to open the gem store regardless of what changes I make to the config, also no addons.

We have ppl that play during the day, but the bulk of players play in the evening/late afternoon, as we are EU based for me that is about 5-6 pm GMT+1 as reference time I suppose

Same here, lost a W5 group cuz I couldn't switch specs, suffice to say not happy and looks like all of my characters are affected by this and locked into their current specs >.>

I can confirm that also, my CPU does some pretty odd spikes and gw2 spikes to 80-90% CPU usage at times, which did not happen before the expansion.Running an i5 4670k, 16gb ram, Nvidia 1060 6GB. which is a fairly good system and nothing else spikes up my cpu usage.
