ranger is forced into using zerk amulet to do dmg like its been doing, the issue isn't ranger, the issue is zerk amulet lol, plus since using zerk ammy its a free kill for most high burst classes, rev, dp thief, the HIGH AMOUNTS OF CC from necro, condi rev, tempest, i don't think ranger needs further nerfs tbh. half the time in order for SB to get the bursts it wants you need to use most of your utility skills, and for core, if you don't hit your Maul your pet doesn't do the insane dmg, there are plenty of ways to work around the pet for certain classes. ranger is really only a solid side noder atm. much like prot holo, necro, FB , spellbreaker. all these classes still have High survivability for sidenoding as well and do fare well against rangers. if your trying to full on tank a ranger your going to die. much like any other class, you can kite half the rangers skills just by LoSing.

my question for you then, im playing a Rev atm, 2 of my skills are absolutely useless which is fine whatever, but with the changes to rev recently i cant even get out of the static aura, i got CC locked for just about 3 seconds and had my Cd's reset 4-5 diff times even after burning all my stun breaks, in this kind of a scenario what should i be attempting to do? ive never really seen these kind of CC's before so this is quite new to me

i guess i see why they are a thing to a certain point, but honestly with the lack of team stab stacking abilities vs how many unevadeable/unblockable CC's there are in the game does anyone else think they should be looked at ? i was in a match the other night with some friends we had 2 guards running the guard skill that pulses stab just to try to counter it and even with 2 guards using there abilities to keep stab up as long as possible we still got CCed to death by these abilities. idk if its just me now knowing how to counter it or what but if its just me NOT knowing how to counter it is there any pointers? would like to not hate this meta so much ahaha unblockable/undodgeable CC + every condi in the game is a fat rip xD pls help!

Hey all, not to sure if this is SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN or not, but its only been happening with the recent updates for me anyways, things like Rev s3 and staff 5, Thief spin to win, ranger smoke assault, "these are just things ive played" are being interrupted by Eles and other class CC skills, not sure why or how this is a thing when your literally Evading? is it a bug? or is this actually a thing now? the only class i can really see this being a thing that should happen would be DH spear of justice being that your already tethered but the others like Shocking aura i dont really understand,

So i made a build for PvP/WvW seems to do decent kind of does the same thing Core does, where you pet swap into Gazelle and burst with maul, but adding the Glyph of Equality makes it a guaranteed hit and is fun to play with I've memed quite a lot of people but that is really all it can do, i never got to play druid as I'm newer to the game only started playing since 1 year after PoF released and wanted to give druid a try as i am a ranger enthusiast through and through :) Anyways , it seems one of the only ways to play druid effectively is to use staff and if you don't your builds practically useless.. IF the devs take a look at this post could we try to find a way to make other variants of druid viable? i can understand the pet nerf slightly because I've watched some old videos of how druid used to play but druid isn't really being played at ANY level of pvp/wvw now... i mean at least not Power druid, condi trapper seems to somewhat work. Anyways I'm leaving this forum to have people come in and give there opinions on changes others would like to see as well! Id like to note i want to try to get a positive post to Anet. I see to many crap posts to Anet and I want to encourage the Devs not Discourage them.... Love ya guys :)! Thanks in advance to the posts :D

AM i the ONLY person wondering where the heck we all came from, i mean for being one of the largest races in Tyria at one point to where we are now and arguably still one of the largest i would say humans have had some of the most impact on all of Tyria but seriously where did we come from lol it is said that we where brought here but literally nothing i search comes up, id honestly be completely okay if they had an entire Living world not doing the story in order to explain some of the unanswered questions from gw1 and gw2 more back story on the 6 or the 5 now, but there is sooooo much i feel Anet has just kind of not explained and say something like oh they went to the mists and time and space doesn't even truly exist there. what about tengu? i guess most gw2 kind of forgot about these species because there isnt many of them but tengu are by far my fav race in gw2, i think the rev has the most lore potential of all the classes but i think it would be really sick if they made each class something to do with there given god even if the races like charr dont worship the god doesnt mean they cant draw the powers of melandru or something they had the dervish who was directly linked to the gods avatars bring that back please or even a dervish spec :p

if you play a pvp match with a mes, which almost every game right now has 2 your entire gameplay has to be altered to only plus 1s and if theres a mid fight you have to really be careful with what you do, condis DO NOT need a buff they already have a condition in the game for EVERYTHING you can do in the game, you wana auto attack? Confusion, you want to move? Imob , stun, torment, or even fear, but WAIT THERE IS MORE!!!!!!!!!!! lets also make it so you cant attack while putting burning, poison and bleeding on you as well and then as soon as you clear them put them right back on lol conditions are fine where they are at, they are very strong and i would say unless your playing a ranger or spell breaker or guard your power class can be relatively useless " this is not me saying other power builds cant win its more saying that you really have to know what your doing" all in all i think the game just overall needs a 100 percent tone down for dmg, but then we will enter the bunker meta which isnt that fun either so its pick and choose, have a lovely day :)

they already have Shiro but there was other great assassins :) Nikita from gw1 would be dope af, or Balthazar it does seem that the "legend" has to be a fallen one, so what about balthazar? could have an e spec where you can embody one of the six gods ? kind of like the Dervish could channel the avatars etc ! but i did somewhere see that the rev was supposed to be more similar to a Rit from gw1 so maybe something more spirit or misty :) would be cool to see a style like the ritualist come back especially since Shiro is already one Razah would be really neat.

it is hard to play rev right now for sure, no matter how you look at it, you have to rely so much on your team that they will know what to do, i stopped playing rev in the lower ranks and started again once i got to plat again. if you have a team that doesnt rotate or there is no plus 1 scenarios it can suck just focus on blowing people up, dont be the first one into the fight is what i found works when i play rev :) hope this helps! also dont be afraid to use facet of nature it really is nice to strip boons :) or increase the duration of prot :)
