I'm really glad GW2 lets its players take breaks without taking anything from the characters. We even get birthday gifts without logging in for years. For me, this attitude towards the players made returning much easier. :) If instead I had been greeted by broken characters without names... Hm... I don't know if I had wanted to stay then. Level 20 is reached in 2 hour of gameplay, so a f2p that (takes about 3 hours in swtor). If you have came back after 2 hours of game play... And thats most likely why swtor does it that way... If you cant invest 2 hours into that charater in 6 months, someone else mightAnd you think that people who invest that little time and never look back are the same people who come up with super creative names? This is not true, players with a full game and collector's edition valued 150 euro do not have any mount and any glider... they can't even use Guild hall services, this is a complete nonsense that ANET NEVER fixed Do they have the expansions? Our guild normally let the everyone elsr know where gem cards are (few hundred of us spread around this great sunburnt country).

Some major citys restocked them... Smaller towns werent so lucky

Gw2 is one of the cheapest mmo to date. With it on sale only being $38 (aus) for both expansions.. And not on sale for $75 (aus) So i guess rental is out of the question when all the game is less than a cartoon of beer. Plus acquisition of the warclaw, my gulidies that are new to wvw get it within 1 or 2 guild runs so again very easy to get it "for keeps".

Alliances wont fix anything. -Youll still have the bandwagon mentially-Still have guilds that instead of challenging themselves, they go for the hard carry to 'alliances' instead of servers with the most population.-Still have the same coverage gaps Alliances announcement has been out for too long now and expectations are way to high
