  1. Arkk (Shattered Observatory 99 CM) seems to be unreliable. Mostly between 5-8 seconds exposed.

  6. If this problem ever gets fixed. I get the impression that this bug is of no real importance to Arenanet, hence the lackluster communication. EoD had a great start, even though there were a lot of bugs, but they started to fix those right away, but this ... this is just sad. Especially while this bug keeps people from actively participating in the festival. For the time being I will take my money elswhere, as I don't feel valued as a player, or customer for that matter.
  7. A red post! Finally! Thanks for letting us know! BUT: "an" engineer? Singular? ... This bug keeps people from playing ... While there is a festival ongoing that those people can't attend ... Is there an ETA for a fix? Will the festival stay longer to give people the chance to gather rewards that they can't aquire for week+x days by now? Any specifics?! Something?
  8. The fact that this issue is still a thing more than a week after first report is a shame. A week where this game is literally unplayable for an amount of people. ALSO: While a major festival is taking place, I now lost the ability to participate for a whole week. I'm majorly annoyed ...

  12. Just coming in, your "translators" even translate the name of your own IP in some patchnotes from the 3rd of march. "Path of Fire" was translated word by word into "Pfad des Feuers"
  13. Hello, I am back. Yesterdays Patchnotes Preview was a desaster in translation. There were multiple miss-translations in the german preview. All in the Catalyst part: The german translation lists all those changes as nerfs "gesenkt" means lowered. To put translator in quotation marks is justified, and this is only one example of many. Errors like this should never occur. Let me do the translating. I'll do it for free, and better!
  14. Hey there, some small bugs with the mechanist: When sending my mech away with F4 (or when it dies), the skill is on CD dependant on mechs HP when it left. Sometimes the mech will just randomly re-spawn itself, which is annoying. Also when the mech is killed, and retreats to it's home planet, some ticks of regeneration or heal can make it cancell it's exit. Mech-Command-Skills then behave weirdly and instead of F4 [Recall Mech], F4 [Crash Down] is available. When F4 [Crash Down] is used the Golem just disappears. Elite-Skill [Overclock Signet] active [Jade Buster Cannon]'s animation often get's culled, which leaves a very unsatisfactory look. F7 [Return To Me] cancells all Mech Commands, as it should. But F6 [Attack My Target] does not always resolve that state. It often happens that the Mech is in it's active state and neither F1 [Explosive Knuckle], F6 [Attack My Target], Me attacking a target, of him getting attacked leads to him doing anything. Mace 3 [Rocket Fist Prototyp] should lead to Mech firing his [Rocket Punch] as per Tier 2 Minor Trait. This happens, but if often feels like the [Rocket Punch] neither deals, damage nor deals break bar damage. Or atleast the damage number is missing. Also it often fires it's [Rocket Punch] from out of range. Best wishes
  15. Hey there everyone, I wanted to give some feedback about the alacrity-heal mechanist that I've been playing since EoD Release. Generally the Support-Alacrity-Mechanist feels great. While I often feel like getting bullied by my Mech my teammates and I always have a good laugh. I still feel there are several points to improve and some nasty bugs that need to go. Disclaimer: I'm talking solely from a Alacrity-Heal-Mechanist Point of View in Raids and Fractals. I'm not talking about anything related to damage dealing or open world, WvW or sPvP. I will start of with general feedback: First of all: Underwater-Content (Weird that that's my No. 1 priority, I know): Luckily there are no Underwater-Raidbosses, but unfortunately there is one Underwater Fractal. It is daily once every 15 days, and just so happened to be daily today. We all know that Anet has given up on Underwater content at this point, which is sad. But completely disableing the golem and not giving any access to barrier (-> that in turn buffs alac) is a shame. I would enjoy seeing my golem underwater, and frankly I don't see a reason why that is not a thing. Weird floating animation: check. Attack animation: check. Just enable the golem underwater so we can have access to alacrity. Second: Range of Golem: For a Support-Alacrity-Mechanist there is really only one option for Mech arms: The one's that grant Might on hit. [Mech Arms: High-Impact Drivers]. Ranged arms that grant vulnerability are in no way practical position-wise and melee arms with bleeding are no alternative. Problem with the High-Impact-Drivers is that that my mech has quite the range! Instead of attacking from right outside the bosses hitbox (while standing right under them would even be more ideal) they attack from what seems 300-400 range away. (tooltip says 600 range, but it feels smaller). That often leads to the golem not being in radius towards my allies. Of course it's possible to reposition him via Callback- and Attack-Command, yet this is unneccesarily clunky. Also when the mech stands that far away (behind the group) the only practical option to bring it closer to the boss is F1 [Explosive Knuckle], which is on a 15 second CD (+/- Alacrity of course). Lowering the golem attack range would much increase the quality of life for support mechanists . Before anyone says "Well you could use [Shift Signet]", no not really an option as mech will lose access to my buffs for the next 20 seconds (+/- alacrity) Third: Shift Signet: I bet some people mentioned it before me, but [Shift Signet]'s passive makes it mandatory to take with in every mechanist build. It's quite strong. Please move the passive away to a trait. Tier 3 minor comes to mind, as I don't think that trait is really of any use. Or make it so that Shift Signet can actually be used freely without losing it's passive while on CD. Fourth: To High in Damage: This is probably a controversial point. I think that 7-8k DPS with full harrier for just having my mech with me is insane. All I'm using is my mace skills, F1 and some Elixir Gun skills. Druid pet's get extra nerfs while my mech can just fists it's way through enemies, unfair. Fifth: Small Cooldowns once a Command Skill was activated: Accidentaly cancelling F3 [Barrier Burst] is far too easy. Once F3 is activated please put a 1 second cooldown on the other command skills so it's not cancelled by fat-fingering. Sixth: Golem-Teleport-Range: I feel like the range from where the mech teleports back to the mechanist is too far away. Fighting the anomaly in Thaumanova-Fractal while Mech is talking to Scarlet just stands around at the base doing nothing, not even listening to the Recall-Command feels weird. Only way to get it up was via [Shift Signet]. (Why that is a problem look Third) Seventh: Naming: We all love pets in MMORPGs. Naming them is fun, and I love some good puns. Yet naming in GW2 is restrictive. Only (english) Letters, no numbers, no dashes, no commas, dots, all that is missing. While this usually targeted actual pets and player characters I didn't mind it. But now that I have an actual piece of jade and technology right before me this naming convention is limitting and should be changed (at least for the mech). Generally good class for Support-Heal-Alac, but please do some QoL-stuff and let me name my technological masterpiece with dashes and dots.
  16. Stuff like that, the small bits that are sometimes outright stupid and make no sense, made me change to the english client. I never regretted it, though I'm sad seeing that "translation" is still of no priority to most studios, hence the problem in almost every game I played.

  18. This! Absolutely this. We get punished. If the hard content of CM has so little impact why not slighty nerf the drop rate, and add extra coins to the EoD Strikes. There are more MC sinks, why not have more MCs available overall...
  19. My 2 cents to the discussion. Overall the new espec feels awul to play. While I expect the Revenant to be a clunky class that somewhat has long-ish cast times, i'm missing the pay-off in damage. Also: No Furry available? The idea of 2 legends seems like a cool idea, but plays horrible. I don't want to change between heal-support skills and damage skills. Give me an option to lock the skills in place. Some F3 ability, or split the Luxon and Kurzick Legend entirely. The skills itself are fine, I guess but feel unexciting and boring. Cool animation where? And I think there was enough said about the worst skill in other posts: the urn! The Greatsword itself feels more like a hammer than a GS, which is fine by me, again I expect Revs to be more clunky than others, but please stop recycling old animations. The GS5 is Reaper GS2, the GS4 i've seen one too many times in-game. Talking about the block: How useless is this stuff? I expect to have a worthwhile pay-off of blocking a skill, but here there is nothing I deem worth the effort. Let's talk about the dodge: To me, personally, the dodge feels as kitten as it gets. Not only do I lose DPS using it, I also get animation locked after coming down. I'm subject to conditions when midair (and can be somewhat CCed, seems like a bug though) and I only have one of it. Thing is none of the trait variations make this more rewarding, they are all just meh. In a game where there is all about a dynamic combat with dodging big AoE-effects that stun/knockdown/knockback/daze etc. this dodge is just a waste of potential, as there is only one stunbreak in the Alliance skills. The Traits itself are fine, but they are all targeting the Alliance skills which makes me feel forced to play them on this spec, not giving me the chance to make a worthwhile decision. Also as a non gw1-vet: how am I supposed to know which are Kurzick and which are Luxon skills? I've been yearning for a GS-Spec for the rev ever since the class got introduced, but this is a heartbreaker for me. Guess i'm staying a Renegade until something cool for Revs gets introduces, so ... probably forever.
