The quest is a pain in the kitten, but so what. No one is forcing anyone to do it, it isn't a necessity. I work on it when I feel like it and when it is done, it's done. This is all my personal opinion. Now the turtle...I don't see a need for me to worry about that either. If/when I look at what I need to do I'll either work on that or not. -
The " Pointed Ears " package is a horror show.

What is the budget for a new system? Here is a budget build I saw for less than $500. I just configured myself a new system that I budgeted $1500 for, but you can build a pretty viable system for $500. The AMD Ryzen's are pretty good CPU's. I've only been using AMD CPU's for the last 23 years and never had any issues with any system I have built.
