  1. (this is only about PvE) I mainly stopped playing Mirage in group content over half a year ago because it could not meaningfully compete with new alac meta. The last couple of patches only use I found for Mirage was Twin Largos and some longer fights in solo/open world. This patch patches useful Mirage out of existence: It has a normal dodge now but you still have to use it to deal damage. So its kind of like a core mesmer with stipulations. Realistically Mirage is only Axe or Staff. Since Mirage can't be Power its not great for killing small enemies. Axe makes you jump uncontrollably so Axe is not great for killing big enemies. That leaves Staff for killing big enemies and boon support but Staff Mirage is what's getting nerfed 3 patches in a row. Then what is Mirage good for now? Killing medium size enemies solo?
  2. Is mirage axe/staff actually a problem anywhere but pvp? I had staff/staff pve mirage for a few years and since the last update I barely used it as it became less fun to play. If that nerf didn't work anyway why not consider unlinking chaos vortex from clones the way it was before?
  3. Strike Mission: Fraenir of Jormag In the boss encounter during Icebrood Construct phase mirage's Lingering Thoughts skill does not summon any clones. My understanding of it is that the boss entity is too far from boss hitbox. It might cause similar problem on other skills using entity.

January 10 Release Notes Fixed an issue that caused some repeatable Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons achievements to sometimes incorrectly count additional points when tallying achievement point totals. This may appear to reduce some players' achievement point totals upon logging in, as the "extra" achievement points will be removed.
  5. QoL Cursor contrast option that only turns on during combat. Realistically most people only use contrast because boss fights are so flashy you can not tell where your cursor is. Meanwhile having it turned on during inventory management is a bit of an eye sore. We can choose out of 2 options and both are flawed ^^ This is some QoL even third party cursors cant provide!
  6. Can you guys make it so boons are cast at the start of skill channeling? So mirage who do choose to do alac don't find themselves in a situation where they spent time casting Chaos Vortex but by the time its complete they have no clones alive? It will be a bit of a boost but alac mesmer is not a very popular option already.
  7. Even though it feels weird to not have clones or boon output I don't mind Virtuoso experimenting with what Mesmer is. But for what this spec is trying to be I think it lacks damage and either movement or range.
  8. I will play Virt because its a new and different mesmer playtime but as it is I will be doing so despite what it brings not because of it. Hopefully it will be more useful sometime
  9. I know it would take some artists much less time and its far from perfect, but I don't consider myself a real professional I was wondering if there is any way to get attention GW2's on Twitter? I don't have many followers and this fanart retweet would help me a lot haha

  11. Livestream gameplay bit was so limited, we don't know stats /pekrs or if its current build version. Its hard to conclude anything from it. I was talking more about general tendencies of last expac releases.
  12. New elite specs are always OP which is fair, players have fun while devs gather feedback. But after enough feedback new elite specs get nerfed down. So my concern is that by the time EoD releases, first beta tested specializations will end up nerfed compared to the later tested ones.
  13. ahaha, make the ice physics segment on a few platforms that don't look like ice until you land on them! and in the end a checkpoint that doesn't actually save
