  1. This should be on the character select screen in some fashion. This should also incorporate other portal tools like boss timer, home portal, hall of monuments portal, and area passes (Lily of elon, mistlock sanctuary, etc...)
  2. They also should also come back after mounting and dismounting like minions or pets. This would be an awesome elite option for the other classes. As someone who has a lot of infinite gathering tools, this would not help me. However, it is an excellent idea and should be implemented for standard gathering tools. +1 to this
  3. It would be awesome to have a home node for all festival items, materials, and map specific items. Lucky envelopes like the gift treeHalloween bags also like the gift treezephyrite chests from Dry TopDragon stand podsitems from fractalsQueen's festival tokensBasically have something that people can use to work towards materials, rewards, or achievements without locking access to a specific map, time-frame, or play type. Getting items from home nodes or daily boards is a slow build reward that over time gives more opportunities to players for rewards and can help encourage exploring new things. A part of my entry into WvW was directly from getting badges of honor from achievement chests. The first time I entered PvP was to use the PvP armor from the same chests.
  4. Favorites would be awesome, also for those that craft for a lot alts. Maybe have a favorite template for say crafting exotic armor where you select which stats you want and have a click build it. It would also be nice if we could have a grid display for inscriptions or insignia recipes that mirror the mat storage so you can see if you have enough base mats for doing a set of soldier armor. As an aside, I really need to learn Photoshop to mock up screens. Maybe also add a checkbox to auto purchase any needed mats for the base ingredients.

I think it would be a huge QOL boon to allow map/dungeon/fractal specific currencies to be traded to other player or guild banks like with gold.We already have the Tyrian Exchange Voucher that allows players to collect those currencies without playing through the specific map so I don't think this is setting any bad precedents. I am sitting on a huge number of Bandit Crests that I do not need as I have everything from Silverwastes (except shovels) that can provide any use for my account. I have guild mates that need Bandit Crests for their goals. I feel that it is silly that I cannot send those to the other player, but I can send 500 gold. I propose a function kind of like the wallet that can be joined to guild bank vaults and the the mail interface that will allow you to select a type of currency and then an amount to send or deposit. The Tyrian Exchange Voucher would even be a good list of currencies to test this out with.
  6. This would be a huge QOL feature. It has been suggested several times on this thread alone, at least once by me.Hopefully, the more that people suggest this, the faster it will be implemented.
  7. That was originally how it worked before the mega server system. I miss the queue sometimes.
  8. Implement a boost storage kind of system that allows you to switch between a certain number, say five, of each type of boost. So you can activate a 1 hour food boost but then switch game modes and activate a different food that doesn't just replace your current one. It would put the current one in stasis until you switch back to it. Also have the system automatically switch when the time runs out unless you activate the current one again. This would be awesome with the guild boosters too.
  9. This is not a suggestion for a new or returning item specifically but more of a suggestion in functionality/feature. This suggestion is both QOL and Gem Store related, so I will be posting on both threads. It would be awesome if when sending a gem purchased gift, if there was an option on the item that would allow you to accept the gem equivalent for your account rather than the item itself. This would (possibly) increase the amount of gifts sent via the gem store. I know I try to only send to one person for whom I have api keys so I know if I am sending something he already has. I also had a situation where I received a gift of mount licenses and had already unlocked all of the ones for that set. The person who sent the gift and I both had to put in a support ticket to get the original gem purchase revoked, and this could cut down on those types of tickets. As the gift is mailed immediately, I would think you wouldn't have to worry about someone purchasing at a lower price and then trying to get gems after that item discount has ended. Or, include in the option of accept the gift or accept the equivalent XXXX gems for your account.

  11. There are also trolls putting guild banners on chests, perm nodes, NPC's necessary for collections and have time limits, etc...It would be awesome if you could select to disable player created interact able items.

  13. A UI option to display available collections, achievements, scavenger hunts, etc for items you have active and are in your general area. Like "This event goes to two achievements" or "this heart has items for an active collection". Something that will help guide players to achievement goals without forcing them to track on another screen, spreadsheet, or constant toggles of watches items. It would be even better for things like the world bosses that also require you to have harpy pheromones, anthology of villains, or jars in your inventory to get the achievement. "This event requires 2 inventory items for active achievement completion." And list what those things are as a link. Also would be nice for events that have a large set of achievements to complete like tequatl, triple trouble, or shatterer. Or, this event has a random drop that unlocks further collection(s); this event has a random drop that goes to special collection (anton's boot blade). There could be a lot of options to expand on the usefulness of the UI, mini map, and map director towards items.
  14. It would be great if we could select criteria for collections to show on the achievement summary screen. I really want to know when I am within three events for some collections, or only need two fractals to complete a legendary journey collection. The almost complete achievements that currently show are not something I will be completing anytime soon and I cannot choose to hide from the list. Maybe also add categories like near completion side stories, story achievements, black lion collections, collections needed for other achievements (machines weapons, auric weapons).
  15. Add a preview for infusions. These are really taking off and people want them, you should be able to preview before buying or selling to see if it is a look you would actually want.
  16. What do you mean by a 2d puzzle? Something you have to play from only an elevated view?
  17. We really should be able to keep weapon skills. I understand losing the utility and elite skills, but please let us keep the weapon skills. Additionally - give us the racial skills on the Revenant. It is really crazy that this class is the only one that locks you into specific utility and elite skills. We should be able to customize and play how we like on this class. It is awesome that water selections were updated, please follow through and update the rest of the class :)
  18. This has been suggested in this forum before, but it cannot be suggested enough. Also add a filter for dye based on color.
  19. Just saying as an addition. You should be able to add the home portal stone to the books. Actually, it would be nice to be able to combine the volumes, plus the home portal stone, unlimited passes (elon lilly, mists, mists, etc...), and a node for Lion's arch into one volume.
  20. If we have an item in bank or material storage that can be charged via hero points, please let us have the option without having the item in inventory. I always forget to pull them out.
  21. Have a favorites list for waypoints. You can store a given number for each map in a quick list so you don't have to go to map, find the zone, and then find the waypoint.

  23. When you have learned an account bound recipe it would be really cool if that recipe no longer showed in the vendor list. I know there is the red "You already know this recipe!", but you still have to hover over everything to find ones that you did not know.
  24. I and others have suggested a library in the home instance or guild hall for all of the books we find. I just thought of an alternative that would be just as nice. Could you add a Picked Up Lore section to the story journal that could hold all of the books we collect, vlast's memories, etc...
