Question about PoF Mastery points

Hello.

 

I have completed several PoF Mastery points with my main character.

 

If I pick my second character (who has not arrived to PoF maps yet) and I go to PoF maps, can I repeat the Mastery points done by my first character in order to obtain more points? Or I can only do the ones that my first character have not done yet? If that is the case, how can I know (using my second character) which ones are already done by my first character?

Mastery points are once per account.

Short answer.

Mastery points are account bound.
Mastery tracks are account bound.

To get more point you have to achieve a new Mastery.
The map told you if you have already got this Mastery or not.

I did not know the map tell me about the Points adquired by my other characters.

Unearned mastery points will show up gray on the map.  Completed mastery points will be colored (Green for HOT, Red for PoF, Blue for IBS)

You can also hover over them.

There are many Mastery Points to unlock other than Mastery Insights.

Actually, it's green for HoT, purple for PoF, Blue for IBS, and red for Core Tyria.
