Grand Marshal.4098
WILL UPDATE I want as much data as possible on this so please go ahead and use it and make adjustments if you need: Offensive Support Bladesworn Gamemode: WvW Environment: Zerging (Open Field) Role and Characteristics: High Spike dmg and mid range spike contribution, AoE Projectile Blocking, Soft CC (Immob), Minor Stab Strip Build: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PKQAwjNYWgpulOA-zVQYRYUwngRPAB0D-w Still need to figure out gear. Ideally you'd want as much power as you can, but with the rather new and weird burst mechanic, we need to see how much the warrior can sustain itself before going full glass, so I'd recommend toughness gear like captain or cavalier. Soldier or valkyrie, perhaps a mix may be possible too, but again, Marauder may be the go to. And rune of durab may end up being better party-wide utility over a tanky selfish rune. Bladesworn unique related skills and traits for the build: Traits: River's Flow, Unshakable Mountain, Unyielding Dragon Skills: Electric Fence, Bulletproof Barrier, Tactical Reload Weapon: Off-hand Pistol Edited September 19, 2021 by Grand Marshal.4098
sneakytails.5629
Thanks for the template, appreciate it. Defensive Support Bladesworn Gamemode: WvW Environment: Small Scale Roaming Role and Characteristics: Warhorn and Shout based support, Soft CC (Immob), group heals, and condition cleanse, with possible burst on fully charged dragon trigger. Build: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PKgEwEOWghZW2Fe0TrA-zVIYf0wXGBVA9mA6cICwG4tM6kF-w Description: Full healing power with Clerics stats. The ammo heal could synergize nicely with the runes. Already tested a core version of this with only 2 traitlines and the gear with surprising results in certain comps. Suseptible to burst and immobilize. Bladesworn unique related skills and traits for the build: Traits: River's Flow, Unshakable Mountain, Immortal Dragon Skills: Combat Stimulant (heal), Tactical Reload for ammo recharge. Weapons: Sword/Warhorn Edited September 19, 2021 by sneakytails.5629
Lan Deathrider.5910
I'm going to spend time tinkering with the traits before I step into WvW. Got to learn my options.

Weapons: Sword/Warhorn I was also playing with the idea of dropping Discipline for Defense, but since Projectile Blocks cannot make use of Shield Master, I decided that Discipline was the way to go for a dmg oriented build. It's been too long since I dropped Discipline, so I must ask, how do you feel this fair out? You said you tried it with Core (where you are fluid enough to choose Disc), so do you believe it will be less powerful in Bladesworn? Of course the ammo mechanics in BS does make for unique interactions previously impossible to have with Core , Berserker and Spellbreaker (despite the latter's survivability). 53 minutes ago, Lan Deathrider.5910 said: I'm going to spend time tinkering with the traits before I step into WvW. Got to learn my options. Maybe some golem tests and open world trait interaction before rolling into wvw. Not to mention some extensive lessons on how to use the Gunsaber and Dragontrigger on top of studying how all adrenaline-related aspects work with this.. Ngl I like the idea we got so much stuff to examine upon. For all it's bad and good, this spec is well-thought out and provides strong synergy which is warrior's greatest power! Grand Marshal.4098
Solo Roamer Bladesworn Gamemode: WvW Envoronment: Roaming/Smallscale Role and Characteristics: Consistent unblockable DPS, High mobility, hHigh toughness Build: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PKgAw6jNYYmllgFzlPA-z1YU7oBMBfCrQIjjKBysAUaWI+MC-w Description: Highly mobile, with unblockable burst and skills, decent flow generation as long as you move around and swap weapon as quick as possible (currently bugged so it will be easier to perform), with plenty of toughness and decent condi cleanse. Power dmg is good, precision could be better which is why sigil of perception > cleansing unless outnumbered a lot. Good spikes and decent AoE Cleave, good survivability as far as I have tried it. Downside is the loss of a steady healing alternative. Be smart with your heal skill and when to kite. Bladesworn unique related skills and traits for the build: Tactical Reload (Elite) Traits: Unseen Sword (can do Swift as the Wind instead), Unshakable Mountain, Unyielding Dragon
sneakytails.5629
Support Bladesworn was a flop, Spellbreaker beats it in every way. The elite ammo recharge was not as great as I thought it would be for support. Having a weapon swap with a support Spellbreaker allows the ammo charges on shouts to come back more easily anyways, and Banner is far more useful in smallscale. I can also get a similar 10% healing increase with food, not to mention double Sigils on 2 weapon sets for even more useful effects like health on interupt via draining sigil which is very usable on Spellbreaker and hardly at all on Bladesworn. Overall dissapointed but not surprised as this appears to be a DPS spec with a slower pace but that's how a non support Defense line Spellbreaker plays anyways. As I was dissapointed by the zerg build. But with some tweaks I still believe it can work, namely, the fix of all bugs related to using the gunsaber and some balancing, as well as the increase in range and addition of effects in some skills. jaif.3518
Outfit - Zafirah's (Endgame build!) http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PKTAElNwCxqYl4Id5D-zVJYiRBfIoOA-w Flow stabilizer for missing utility bladesworn 2-1-3 Use greatsword as needed for mobility. Once you have flow, you can live in gunblade pretty easily, as trigger recharge trait lets you spam the dragon charge, and flow builds up pretty quickly. You need to be good at reacting - decide when to dodge, when to use a mobility skill, etc. Sometimes you can stay in dragon trigger mode for a bit, biding your time, and other times you hit it fast and let it reset. Don't forget your 4 & 5 either, they can help (especially side-stepping that inconvenient well while maintaining charge levels). Samohanka.8375
[&DQILKSQXRC2mAKcAqAAAAOIBAACpAAAA/BoAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA=] I call it "Riflesworn". Basically, spam ammo skills and shouts. By using shouts, you heal and generate flow. Rifle 3 is used to cripple foes (to increase damage from Leg Specialist and Opportunist), although On My Mark is probably enough to get max vuln within seconds. It also counts as an explosion, increasing ferocity. Unsuspecting Foe is for enemies that somehow survive Dragon Slash when they are stunned. Speaking of Dragon Slash, use it when you can. While charging it, you can use shouts to maintain the Might, Fury, and Vuln. Only use your Signet of Strength when about to use Dragon Slash. When you get used to the Gunsaber, its 2 skill is great for damage. It has multiple explosive strikes that can all crit. To The Limit is only useful as a last resort, for a massive heal, minor Flow gain, and extra dodges. You'll also want to spam Tactical Reload when you can for more abilities, health, and flow. The gear you'll want to use is Berserker armor/rifle and Cavalier jewelry. You'll use Runes Of The Trooper for near-infinite condi cleanse and Sigils of Force and Fire for extra damage. Hope y'all enjoy
