Chef kinda stuck

Hi all.

 

My chef is at level 445, and can't get any higher, as every single recipe I try to discover, is always missing one ingredient. 

 

The bigger issue is that the character has all inventory bags full of ingredients that make possible recipes.

 

I already purchased an extra bank tab last night ro place cooking ingridients, but still won't do.

 

Can anyone help me with this?

I need recipes other than in the TP.

Also need to know where to get rare ingridients. 

I might be missing some from areas that I don't often go to.

 

I need to start using those ingredients to finally empty this character's inventory, as she's been idle since I started her cooking.

She's the only mesmer I've got and wanna use her.

Leveling Chef to 500 is kinda a special case. You'll need to do the achievement https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gourmet_Training in order to level up. Doing this achievement will bring you all the way to 500.

 

You can store most cooking ingredients in your material storage. In case you've flooded your inventory with combined materials that can't be stored, I'd sell those. Look up the achievement and only keep the materials you need.

 

Edit: If you already have a chef at 500 and for some reason want to level another chef to 500, you should already have the recipes unlocked that give you further experience. In either case you won't be able to level chef to 500 purely by discovering recipes.

I would generally recommend leveling to 450 then do the collection which will give you the other 50.

As for getting to 450, https://www.gw2spidy.com/crafting/8?sort_cost=asc&min_level=&max_level=&min_rating=400&max_rating=400&min_supply=&max_supply=&hide_unlock_required=on make either the cheapest or the most profitable one.

Alternatively you start the collection after you get to 425, do the collection which will bring you to 475+ then you make the varietal seed pouches(https://www.gw2bltc.com/en/db/search?name=varietal+pouch) until you get to 500

You need to go to your home instance and talk to the Norn NPC there (Seimur Oxbone). He will tell you to prepare a special feast. This will unlock the next quest step on your journey to level 500. You will have to travel and complete certain tasks, then visit all racial cities and prepare special meals:
