Why are overloads 3 target cap in WvW?

Bad balancing? And or balancing for pve where 1 target is all you need for an dmg skill most of the time for what ever reason comply controlling wvw and spvp balancing even after split in balancing.

In wvw overload earth was 10 target for a long time that got nerfed as well as WH 10 target skills and shout 10 target skills comply destroying the "big aoe" roll of tempest in wvw. Now we have pet spam from necros destroying aoe caps because anet can do flower up dates in a timely way.

You're completely out of line here, they are talking about the enemy targets.

In addition, tempest is viable just not optimal. If you have high incoming boon rip because soothing mist is not removable and neither are auras, aurashare tempest can possibly pull ahead of scrapper which relies on boons for healing.

In addition, minion spam in WvW is run by basically one guild in total and "rise" has a hard counter: range pressure.

Well earth overload and shouts all have aggressive sides to them that where all nerfed in target caps. As well as making pets on the enemy teams messed with the only 5 target caps.

I would like to see the support side go back to 10 target for sure but the aggressive side of tempest shouts overloads should be high targets caps i just do not think anet is able to program there game well enofe to have a support side doing only 5 targets and aggressive side doing 10 targets.

This is just anet incompetence and lack of doing any amount of work on something after they added it in. Anet is very very bad at looking back on old content and old updates.

For sure tempest is comply gone from the meta even before the 10 target nerf scraper was a better class for support in wvw. At least it was a type of "roll."

Its just a good point to say anet you are doing it wrong you done it wrong in the past and we think your going to do it wrong coming up.

Overload Fire/ Overload Earth is supposed to be 5 target so are you sure you have that right?

Yeah it's just air that's 3(Fire doesn't say anything in it's tooltip at all) but...why?

It hits so many times up to 14 times so that it is a non-issue (damage interval is 0.5s instead of 1s on overload fire /earth)... plus the static charge applies to 5 allies.
I'd say a far larger problem with it is if you have one target it won't hit all strikes on that target.
