Hi, there are any rules for do giveaways?
I can't find nothing about it, I also ask to the spanish support but nobody replies me 😞

I would like a legendary giveaway in the spanish forum, but I don't want to risk my account for that.

I don't think there are official rules for running a giveaway, and I know several guilds and other groups have done it.

The main thing would be ensuring it does not get incorrectly flagged as real money trading - where Anet's software or someone at the company thinks you're selling it for real money. The best way to do that is to advertise the giveaway in the game, and when you send the prize/s put something in the message like "Congratulations! You won the guild/whatever contest! Here is your prize". Also take screenshots of the announcement and the message so if your account does get locked you can contact Customer Support and show them the screenshots to show it was a giveaway.

Of course that also means you can't require people to pay real money to enter or anything like that, otherwise it really would be real money trading.

Make sure you don't ask any real life (outside the game) payments to enter, this includes social media likes, subscribes and follows.
