Fendz.6520
Seems we got nerfed from 100% crit chance (personal not for group) to a 20% increase making fury grant us 40% instead of the normal 20%.. thats still 60% and a guaranteed crit nerf for revs. Why is this not in the patch notes? Its a huge change tbf. And Soothing stone is slow as feeeek, can you please make the skill insta use or at least cut down the use time significatly.. its a pretty crappy heal to begin with but a decent condi clear, make it more effective so we dont litterally die while using the heal skill... phokus.8934
The tooltip was just reworded to indicate an additional 20% increase to critical chance when under Fury. So you're still gaining an increase of 100% (20 to 40), it's just worded better now.

Thrones.6739
Roiling Mist even though on the tooltip says Critical Chance effectiveness increased by 100% while under fury. Never was a 100% Crit Chance buff. It is a 100% Critical Chance increased effectiveness on fury while you have fury. So it always was a 40% increased Crit Chance on fury instead of 20% by default. Hence you always needed to get 60% Crit Chance on gear to get yourself a 100% Crit Chance. Like phokus.8934 said its just a rewording to make it clearer what the grand trait does. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Roiling_Mists 1
LucianTheAngelic.7054
What a joke! Nawnek.2598
It was 100% increase to 20% of fury witch was 40% but now whit the new pve fury being 25% 100% effectivness was going to be 50% crit. but as it stand now its flat 20%. increase so 45% crit fury. its a 5% buff but still sneaky to chance it to flat 20% today. meaning we lose 5% crit if the trait stayed the same. also to not include that change in the patch note. i think its normal to assume whit the wording of the previous trait that we were going to get 10% more crit chance, and finding out today that it be only 5% just feel bad. 2
Fendz.6520
I must have missunderstood the origianl tooltip. Thank for clearing it for me. I would however still want a faster cast on legendary dwary heals 🙂

It's also normal to assume that we were getting that extra 5% because they explicitly said all classes were getting an extra 5% crit chance in compensation from the removal of Banner Buffs/Spotter (which is also why Fury went up by 5%)
The Kay.6539
It's "technically" not a nerf. But it is quite shady that everyone got their 5% extra crit, and we revs just assumed ours was coming from this trait. Which is a fair assumption since the talent description was "doubles fury effectiveness", and they never mentioned they'd change this talent at all. Nothing stings more than a change to the class not on the patch notes, specially one with negative impact, on already the least played class in the game. Uuuh, Soothing Stone might be the best overall skill for Revenant but I digress, the changes to Roiling Mists do nothing. Rather than using a multiplier they changed it so that values are not based on the Fury values but be additive with Fury instead.
Fwog.9387
It was never a nerf and they now have adjusted it anyway. Its a shame they never included it in the patch notes though.
