Is EoD going on sale for 10 year annivesary?

I know it took a while for HoT and PoF to get a 50% sale, but I was wondering if EoD is getting some special treatment since it's a 10 year celebration for GW2

Like most retailers Anet won't announce sales until just before they happen, so there's no way for any of us to know for sure.

There is usually a sale of some sort around the anniversary, and I'll be surprised if this year's one doesn't include EoD, but there's no way to know for sure. Anet might decide not to do a sale on the game itself and focus on gem store promotions, or merchandise or something, or only discount the HoT + PoF bundle. Or something else entirely.

If I were making that decision for ANet, I'd look at EoD sales.  If they are going strong, I would not put it on sale.  If they have tapered off considerably, I'd probably put it on sale to increase them.  Of course, I'd have to consider the possible backlash from those who recently bought EoD who are now demanding refunds. 😉
