No linking allowed you can add a none steam game to steam tho. Launch Steam. Click the. Games. menu, choose. Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library. Steam games are installed in the Steam folder (or whatever other locations you have added in the Steam settings). Therefore, you need to (re)install the game there.
