GW2 R3MASTER - NVidia FreeStyle Graphics Upgrade

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to share my settings. You may like it.

GW2 is 10 years old, and meanwhile it's still pretty as an MMO, I really lack some real graphic upgrades on it.
(Like tessellation, underwater camera shader, better metal shaders, so on...)
Tried so many bad reshades.... Got tired of them. Made my own ofc. 🙂

!! NOTE: Using NVidia FreeStyle with GeForce GPUs are totally LEGAL and won't really stress your PC, like many bad reshade injection.

!! NOTE: Settings accuracy depends on your game & monitor settings.
!! FIX: Adjust values slightly, as you wish. Brightness/Contrast & Colour settings on personal taste.

Huh, this is odd... I wanted to recreate your filters, but Ambient Light and Bloom don't show up in my list of filters. Can more filters be downloaded manually?

Which version of GForce Experience did you install? Mine is 3.26.0.131

Just wanted to point out that NVIDIA Freestyle and ReShade was coded by the same dude.  NVIDIA payed him to be part of the team behind Freestyle, you can actually see remnants  of ReShade dll's in Freestyle. You can also add ReShade shaders to Freestyle.

You may need to add ReShade filters to Freestyle's directory.
Quick google will share you how. Pretty simple. 🙂

Yeah, I figured it out after some time. Not every Reshade filter is compatible, but most of them.

Thanks for the info, though. 😊

Seems really bright and washed out.

It depends on many factors.
If you feel it too bright and washed out, adjust the corresponding sliders.
To be honest, I don't like the vanilla dull and overcolored graphics. For first it may seem weird, but once you get used to it, you'll love it too! 😉 (Then compare to no-filters and wonder how was you able to play that way for now...)
