That's not evidence that the lowest rated server gets linked to the highest rated server. Where is the historic data? And are you saying that it's only first and last place getting linked? Because on that leaderboard AR is 2nd place and yet they aren't linked to the 2nd last place DR because AR is a linked server itself. The same goes for SoS, Ebay, and FC on that list. It sounds completely made up to say that server links are done by glicko but the idea doesn't hold true when you look closer at that list. Anet has said, and has been using since launch, glicko to determine how they do rankings. It was for matchmaking purposes, not linking purposes. Back before 1u1d. Later they were doing all sorts of manual rating adjustments too because a linked server became a host server and had an outdated rating.
