Is it too late to ask for some Shiro PvE buffs?

The balance patch is around the corner and i just wanted to bring up how lackluster Phase Traversal/Riposting Shadows/Jade wind are for how much they cost in PvE, it seems most of their value is only realized in PvP situations and i almost never press those buttons in PvE.

 

Phase traversal is so expensive even if you use it to gap close its dubious if its a dps increase to use it, the unblockable effect doesn't really do anything and 3 seconds of quickness is kinda whatever.

 

Riposting shadows also has too high energy cost making you question if its just better to lie there knocked down on the ground to wait it out instead of throwing away 30 energy, this is also before factoring in the backwards roll which may put you well out of melee range, and after burning 30 energy on a roll you'd have to pay up another 30 to use Phase Traversal to gap close, perhaps you could get an energy discount on Phase traversal if you break a stun with riposting shadows.

 

Jade wind is cool and feels good to press but if you look at something like "Chilled to the Bone!" it really seems too expensive for what it does in comparison.

Shiro does seem to be only used for impossible odds in PvE but it's also meta so I'm not sure how high priority they're likely to make it.

It is something I've been thinking for a while - PvE Shiro is pretty much carried by IO, and apart from IO, the energy costs were set before ArenaNet realised they needed to split balance between game modes.

Shiro legend as a whole (skills + Devastation trait line) has been neglected for quite some time now, while being the most basic and iconic part of any Power Revenant build.

It should definitely be looked into as soon as possible (not holding much hope that it'll happen next June patch though).

Op should play some wvw to see energy costs there , then pve would seem ezpz with 30 energy costs. The only thing devastation needs is more heal values on siphon, rest is fine.

Phase Traversal should be 20

Riposting Shadows should be 20 or 25

Jade Winds should be 30-40

Enchanted Daggers should have its damage doubled or tripled (not its healing)
