SevlisBavles.3059
Randomly during play I get a BSOD with WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR I run all kinds of CPU, GPU and memory intensive games and applications. Vegas Pro video editing, MapInfo, statistics applications, other games with various intensities of graphical quality and CPU load. Sometimes things crash, but I haven't gotten any BSOD's in years, since I had my previous PC. Specs: Intel Core i5-4690K @ 4.1GHz Corsair Vengeance Pro - DDR3 1866Mhz 16GB NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD Windows 10 64-Bit
Radiancee.6537
Some games are more sensitive to memory instabilities. I remember Borderlands 3 always crashing because my RAM was a bit unstable, while all other games ran fine. You could try to lower your RAM clock speed and test it again. Might help to figure out what is going on. The posted BSOD stop code indicates a hardware failure. Edited June 11, 2023 by Radiancee.6537
Chaba.5410
Congratulations on finding a piece of software that finally triggers an issue with your system. The first step would be to disable any overlocking to see if it BSODs while playing again.
Ashantara.8731
Also, if you want more information on the BSoD, the Windows Debugging Tools can be quite helpful for reading the dump file (provided that you have configured Windows to create a mini dump file upon a BSoD). 1
Chaba.5410
"Issues could be related to such things as hard drives, processor, power supply, bad or corrupted memory (DRAM). It also could be that the device drivers are outdated or corrupted. Another reason could be voltage changes." https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000028099/processors/intel-core-processors.html
SevlisBavles.3059
I've decided to underclock my CPU. GW2 seems to be causing an error in the CPU cache but it's not related to an overclock. Thanks for the input, we'll see how it goes.
