Even if they are alive, they seem more focused on getting "easy matchups" rather than duel anyone properly. Gandara has a nice community and lots of leads, despite not having the 'best' players in the world, if it matters to you. Since this post, looks like they've had guilds transfer off and then now they are in T1 with FoW. They lots of chatmanders and the remaining RoS tryhard, but they don't seem to be as strong as an Alliance, like when they would fight against Pipo during the last link, still we won most fights against RoS though. I moved my alt to BT, but other choices would be RoF, despite the quality, at least it's more friendly than let's say RoS/gh, in it's current state. Many server have active wvw players (if you mean the masses). You need to specify what content or playstyle you want. How organized and out for meta classes and gear adn setups, or more loose and cloudy, more voice chat needs or just running along,... What time of day (everyone uses the prime time but what appart from that?) E.g. Gandara has much activity till late in the night/very early morning.
