Dahkeus.8243 Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Hey everyone, I haven’t done Gorseval in probably over a year, but I’m curious for what classes people think are strong for handling the orbs. I know that Tempests were traditionally the ones that handled these, so I assume that Weavers are probably the go-to build for this. However, what other class/builds handle these well? Sephylon.4938 Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 dh scepter, thieves can swap to p/p if they want to help with it, necro's epi, rangers can send their pets to kill the orbs, really any class with range can kill the orbs, problem is how many do you want to send as you still have to clear the spirits and deal enough damage to gorseval. Tarasicodissa.7084 Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Every DPS class can do orbs, but some classes are limited to melee attacks and can therefore only clear orbs right when they spawn. I reality most groups don't really care about orbs at all because Gorseval dies before they can become a threat. If the need rises, they should be cleared by classes that lose the least DPS by clearing - DH and weaver might indeed be good, but the best class by far is condi warrior, because you can aim at the orbs through boss which in fact INCREASES your dps to boss because you'll have more furious stacks. I don't think we bother to do orbs anymore.. everyone stack at mid, occasionally we just need to clear a little only during phases.. no big deal with orbs these days. Ppl usually ignore it. Henry.5713 Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Epidemic and Scorched Earth take the least amount of effort, as in you do not even have to stop attacking the boss.
