Swagger.1459
Even wonder why your pets never matured? All the awesome developers did too, so here ya go pet lovers! NEW PET “AGES”...based off of https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/NPC_rank-Juvenile (obviously)-Adult (normal)-Veteran-Elite-Champion-LegendaryHOW TO “RAISE” YOUR PETSPets start gaining “maturity” levels when a player is level 80, and gain the SAME amount of experience from https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mastery experience levels. So use up all your xp boosters https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Experience, tomes and such, as you do normally! “Maturing” a single pet from juvenile to legendary would require 100 https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mastery levels. A player can only level up 1 active pet at a time (the one you are actively using), but all xp progress is saved. Stowed pets do NOT gain any progress. Thornwolf.9721
Would be cool, and would pay alot of homage to guild wars 1's system in which they grew larger and more powerful alongside you.

Durzlla.6295
I feel like it'd go without saying that if they did this the base pet (what we know now) would get nerfed down and would end up being the legendary or champion "stats" for it. That being said, i'd absolutely love it if they added a pet aging/leveling system that let the pets get bigger at the very least.

Lol yeah with 99,9% certainty that would be the case with this company!

derd.6413
that's a terrible idea because the pets are either gonna be OP BS or ranger need to grind 100 levels for each pet they want to use (that's at least 200 levels) if they even want to qualify for end game content.
