You can also hold down spacebar and avoid all the ground stuff stopping you while on skimmer. I like my griffon. I bought griffons for 7 of my guildies and a few other friends. They will not remove them. In fact, I bet they add more flying types and hidden ones.

The only problem is that it is a 250 gold sink. And no that is not an acomplishment. Unhealthy Grind farming many hours for gold instead of playing content. No content should be build facilitating such a mount. Its keeps out many players who play a game normally and dispise grind.

Yeah but that's a general mount problem now. Not specifically a griffon one. The even scaling would have to be reworked in some of the low-level maps tbh, as it is now you get 5 basic mobs for a zerg of 30 players.

Obvious troll post. But gotta say to anyone reading who isn't familiar to wow. The griffon is a terrible comparison to their flying mounts. Think more of a very fast skyscale that can't hang off ledges. Flying in that game used to be bought with tons of gold, but now for new areas there's a grind to unlock it called Pathfinder. 

 

To the OP, just go put in the effort like everyone else for one of the 'flying' mounts dude.
