KROW.2673
I'm confused with how Marks and Stealing function between Traitlines. For Traits like Hidden Thief, where 'stealing' would trigger them, do Marks simply take over for those Traits? In other words: if I were to mark someone would the Trait still take effect even though it technically wasn't a 'steal'? I'd like to know because this also effects practically my entire build idea (lol obviously). Since Scourge over on Necro has me bored I figured I'd pop back to one of my only other-played classes; and I have a LOT to learn here.

babazhook.6805
Yes. If as example you trait MUG , and SOH when you steal at range you will do the mug damage, heal , spply two poison and weakness, interrupt if done during a player action and gain 2 ini. If you mercy and repeat the same happens again, this all at range. If you are going to mercy before you do so, always use your stolen skill first. This too is applied at the extended range. Reapet your steal after the mercy and you get another item ready to use.
