Error after pressing the "Play" button in the launcher

Hello, after the latest update - Jormag's raising I can't get into the character screen. I login successfully in the launcher and when I press play it shows an error where I can send a report to Anet.

Same thing is happening to me. I press play, the character screen starts to load and then it crashes. I even tried it after a reboot of my PC with nothing else running and had the same problem.

Same for me, any of you using some 3rp party software? I am using d912pxy so perhaps its that?

I am using that dx12 modification and I wonder if that causes the problem? Are you using it too or maybe it is just a bug in the game?

If anybody out there is running a radeon and is experiencing a blinking issue even after the uninstallation of the directx12 wrapper, you can try temporarily disabling enchanced sync.

The friend that suggest the Dx12 is playing the new update just fine with that installed on his computer right now. Is there something else it could be?

"yeah it works now after dx12 uninstall" (from Vishnok.7059 just above). Uninstall it and stay away from 3rd party software.

Yeah, I read what he said. But if other people can launch the game with dx12 installed, the then problem should lie with something else..

Its definatelly the dx12pxy - after I've unsitalled it the game started, but fps drop is very significant.hopfully there will be a fix soon.

Weirdly enough it didn't work for me yesterday, I ran the game today, everything fine. Probably has to do with some quickfix anet did after dx912pxy release.
